🤪 Pokemon Pocket: Pack Hour Glasses, 🦩Explained

Here's all you need to know about the Pack Hour Glasses and how to use them in P♔okemo🦋n TCG Pocket!

Shinedust doesn’t have any impact on gameplay, so you’re likely to accumulate a fair amount before you even notice it. But as your collection grows, you’ll soon discover that it’s a valuable resource for adding new cosmetic effects to your favorite cards. Here’s what it is, how to get it, and how to use it to enhance your favorite Pok💎emon.

What Is Shinedust?

The Shinedust icon as it appears in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Shinedust is a resource that you’ll slowly accumulate as your collection grows, which you can use to enhance your cards. When you first start the game you won’t acquire muchꦅ Shinedust except by completing Missions, but as your collection grows you’ll earn more and more.

How To Get Shinedust

In addition to cards, players receive Pack Points, Experience, and Shinedust for opening packs.

Early on you’ll receive most of your Shinedust from completing missions and achievements, but the main way to get more is by getting duplicates of cards already in your collection.

Each time you open (or buy) another copy of a card you already own, you’ll also get a little Shinedust. It isn’t much, but it does mean you get some value out of the extra six copies of Spearow you opened looking for a Moltres ex.

You can earn extra Shinedust by purchasing additional copies of the promo Trainer cards in the shop, but this is a poor use of your Shop Tickets, which can also be used to buy Hourglasses.

How To Use Shinedust

Three copies of Bulbasaur and 50 Shinedust earns you the Sparkles: Gold flair.

Shinedust can be used to add flair to your Pokemon. This flair is similar to the stickers and ball capsules from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, in that both create a cosmetic effect when the Pokemon they’re appliedও to come into play.

Once you have enough copies of a card, you can trade one to three copies of it along with some Shinedust in order to get a Sparkles: Gold flair, which yo🌠u can then apply to one of the remaining copies of 💧the card.

When you redeem cards and Shinedust for flair, you must have𓃲 two copies of the card༺ remaining. Pokemon TCG Pocket will not allow you to go below a playset by making flairs.

Once you’ve unlocked the Sparkles: Gold flair for a card, other, more expensive flairs will become available. Which flairs are available is dependent on the card: some Fire-type Pokemon will get Fla♔mes: Orange flair, while some Water-Type Pܫokemon will get Ripples: Light Blue flair.

The higher the rarity of the card, the more Shinedust you need to create flair. However, the number of copies of that 💝card decreasꦓes.

Flair Costs
