The Kanto region is one of the best landmasses in the Pokémon world, and fans get nostalgic just by thinking about it because it was the first region introduced into the franchise. Although fans love Kanto with a passion, there are many things that make little sense about this region ♓that are difficult t𝕴o overlook.
Issues including the lack of baby Pokémon in Kanto and Mewtwo's ability to speak the human language have fans questioning why so many weird things occur in this region of the Pokémon world. Here a bunch of thin𝐆gs about Kanto that just make no sense at all!
10 The Master Ball Is An Exclusive Pro🅠totype
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Master Ball has been around since Generation 1, and as such, it was first seen within the Kanto region. What makes this Pokéball so special compared to other capture devices in the franchise is that it has an 100% catch rate, meaning that any Pokémonও will be automatically caught within it.
This is a great effect, and players absolutely loved getting a Master Ball in Generation 1; however, it was quite confusing when it appeared in every future Pokémon game after Red and Blue. This is because the Master Ball was supposed t♛o be a special prototype, and it ended up being brought back in the exact same form within every future generation, which is very weird considering that it was an exclusive.
9 🧸 🌜 Mewtwo Can Speak Through Its Mind
Mewtwo is a fan favorite legendary; however, there are some peculiar trait✅🍬s of this Psychic-type that fans can't ignore.
Specifically, fans will quickly realize that Mewtwo is able to speak the human language through its mind. This wouldn't be so peculiar if either Mew or other 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Psychic-type Pokémon could speak the human language as well; however, that is not the case. The fact that Mewtwo can s🍒peak🌜 human language is a testament to how weird Kanto Pokémon really are and how little sense they make.
8 Johto Pokémon Are N💫ot Present In Kanto
Pokémon that are exclusive to the Johto region are not present in Kanto, and this is probably because they were not designed yet at the time of gဣeneration 1's release.
However, it still doesn't make much sense that they were not aꦇdded in a future remake of the Kanto region because technically, the two regions are side-by-side🌃 in terms of geography. Fans have been wondering why Johto Pokémon don't cross the border, and it is quite peculiar, to say the least.
7 Pe💛ople Can't Walk Around A Snorlax
It seems that people in the Kanto region don't understand how to step over a Snorlax, and although it i🦹s a big Pokémon, it is not so big that it would be immovable or people wouldn't be unable to maneuver around it.
This was a weird design choice by Gamefreak, and although it became a fan-favorite feature and it is loved by many fans, it still doesn't make much sense because realistically,🔯 any person could easily move around a Snorlax to get past it.
6 Bill Can Turn Himself 🌌🌺Into A Pokémon
Bill from the Generation 1 games accidentally turned himself into a Clefairy, and the player will have to turn him back before getting the ticket🍰 to the S.S. Anne.
This is a very weird occurrence, and there are no other documented cases in the Pokémon world of people turning themselves into Pokemon, and as such, it is very confusing as to how Bill managed to build this device and how the technology works. It is also notable that this technology could be harnessed by an evil team leader to turn themselv🌠es into a legendary Pokémon, which could be a great futur🐲e plot for the franchise.
5 🦂 Team Rocket Has Very Little Motivation
Every evil team has some form of motivation, Team Plasma wanted to free every Pokémon, and Team Aqua wants to create more ocean, amo🌌ng a bunch of other interesting plans and motivatio🅷ns.
However, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Team Rocket lacks plans, and it is quite unfortunate because it is the most iconic evil team in the franchise, and they have appeared in the anime in every generation since the franchise began. Hopefully, in a future game featuring Team Rocket, there will be some motivation because currently Giovanni and Team R✅ocket as a whole lack any real plans or goals f♒or the future, which doesn't make very much sense considering that they are a major evil organization.
4 Voltꦓorb Is A Living Pokéb🌳all
The Pokéball is a very fascinating invention; however, some fans wonder how the related Pokémon Voltorb and Electrode came to exist. According to a Pokedex entry, these Pokémon were created by some form of malfunction in a Pokéball manufacturing plant, a🐟nd these creatures somehow mutated out of the malfunctioned Pokeballs.
This explanation raises more questions than it answers, and it𒅌 leaves many fans confused as to how these creatures really came to become living Pokémon. It would be great to get some more information in the future for Voltorb and Electrode, but as of current, these two Kanto Pokémon make no sense.
3 Kanto Shares A League With Joh🌊to
This is a trait from Kanto and Johto that no other region share,s and it is that the two regions share꧃ a Pokémon league that🦋 trainers can challenge at the end of their adventure.
This wouldn't be so weird; however, no other region has ever had the same league as another, with t🐟he exception of Kanto and Johto, which makes fans question why Johto didn't build a league of their own. It does seem convenient that the two regions are next to each other; however, it would still be more interesting if they did not share a league, and a lot of fans wonder if there can even be a champion of Kanto or Johto considering that the league is connected to both regions.
2 Kanto Doesn't Have Any Baby Pokémoไn
Baby Pokémon were first introduced in generation 2, and this is the technical reason that they are not present within the Kanto region. However, even within the Kanto remake games such as FireRed and LeafGreen and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, baby Pokémon did ⛦not make a return, and they were absent from the main region and its Pokémon trainers.
The lack of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:baby Pokémon is very weird, and fans don't believe that it makes very much sense that Gamefreak decided not to add them in future Kanto remake games because it would have 𒊎been the perfect opportunity to fill this discrepancy i💜n the Kanto region.
1 Ditto Can Transfor💜m Into Any Pokémon
Ditto and Mew are two Pokémon from the Kanto region that can transform into any other creature as long as they have seen it. With Mew, this ability makes a lot of sense, considering that it is a v🍌ery powerful Pokémon; however, ditto, on the other hand, isn't quite as strong, and as such, it makes less sense.
Ditto is said to be a clone of Mew, and this is the reason that it is able to transform into other Pokémon however considering that it isn't very strong and it lacks any other form of ability, it is quite questionable how Ditto's abilities came to be and why Ditto can't learn any 🐓other types of moves.
