The Pokemon Company has announced 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon: Trading Card Game Live, a n༒ew, digital version of the ꧒game for PC, Mac and mobile devices.

Live is the successor to the current , which launched back in 2012, and will feature an improved interface, cross-platform matchmaking and character customisation, as well as new features like battle passes and exclusive events. There will be daily quests available, allo🌊wing you to unlock microtransaction currency to buy new booster packs and cosmetics. Live will also have increased language support, offering translations in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and B🐬razilian Portuguese.

Of course, it will also be receiving updates for each new Pokemon TCG expansion that launches, starting with the upcoming 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fusion Strike expansion in November.

Pokemon TCG Live on Desktop

According to , Live will only have support for the Standard format at launch (meaning expansions from Sun & Moon: Team Up to now), although support for the Expanded format (featuring cards from Black & White onwards) will be added in a later update. It has been confirmed that your digital collection from TCG Online will be transferrable, albeit ꦿwith a few important caveats:

  • You will only be able to transfer four of each unique card, except for ACE SPEC, Prism Star and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:V-UNION cards, which you will only be able to transfer one of each.
  • You can transfer up to 59 of each Basic Energy type each.
  • Anything outside of the current Standard (anything before Sun & Moon: Team Up) will transfer, but will not be playable until the Expanded format update is added at a later date. There is no planned support for any other format, such as Legacy or Theme.
  • "Many" coins, card sleeves and deck boxes will be transferrable, however you will only receive one copy of each. Some of these will not transfer, though The Pokemon Company has not detailed which ones yet.
  • Unopened packs, microtransaction currency, friends list, deck lists, and HeartGold & SoulSilver cards will not transfer. Unopened packs will be translated into TCG Live's new Crystal currency.

As for Pokemon TCG Online, it has bee💦n confirmed that support for it is coming to an end, and the game will be from app stores and from PC download before the launch of Live. The code cards found in older booster packs will be compatiꦬble with Live, however they may unlock different items than they would on Online.

A launch da🐻te for Pokemon TCG Live has not yet been confirmed, however a Canadian soft-launch, followed by a global open beta on PC and Mac, is said to be happening "later this year", with a full global launch happening at some point after that.
