The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon games' basic f𒈔ormula has pretty much never changed, which this lends an element of predictability to it all. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon takes place across a bunch of different islands filled with a variety of people. Even in this very uniquely themed place, there are still familiar elements. One such thing is the Elite Four, who all have their own histories and ways of battling. To help understand them, here are 10 things you didn't know about Ultra Sun and Moon's Elite Four.

10 Handpicked By 🍰Professor Kukui 💖

The Alola region is pretty different from other regions. It's where specific variants of different Pokémon were first introduced. It's also unique because, at the start of the game, there is no official Pokémon League. This means no gym battles or Elite Four. The game solves this by having the island challenges. Once players have completed those, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Professor Kukui sets up the region's first League challenge.

Because he wanted so much for the Alola region to enter the world stage, Kukui went to the various Pokémon trainers that he believed to be the best. These four trainers handpicked by him are Molayne, O🍬livia, Acerola, and Kahili.

9 Molayne'🦩s Story ﷽

Molayne might not look like much when he is first introduced, in fact, most players probably would never have thought he was one of the best trainers in Alola. However, he's done quite a lot in his life that has brought him this far. To start, he is chilꦺdhood friends with Professor Kukui and participated in the island challenge at the same time as him.

Molayne is also a former trial captain, proving that his strength as a trainer has continued to grow. Even outside of battling🍷, he still does a lot. He's the person who manages the PC box system in Alola and he also runs the Hokulani Observatory. It all goes to show wha꧟t a remarkable person Molayne is.

8 Molayne's Battle Prowess ൲ 🃏

It might come as a surprise for those who only played the original Sun and Moon games, but Molayne can be a fearsome trainer. In the Ultra version of the games, he's a member of the Elite Four wiꦫth all that comes with that title. He uses more Pokémon, each with a specific typing, in this case, steel. They're a⛎ll Pokémon that players could find easily and readily.

Klefki can set up spikes, paralyze opponents, set up a reflect, and do some decent damage. Molayne's Bisharp is a fearsome foe 𒁃that has a wide variety of elemental coverage. Magnazone can hit hard and has the Sturdy ability, meaning it will hit opponents at least once. Metagross, an incredible steel-type, is extremely threatening. Finally, Alolan Dugtrio is equ🉐ipped with Steelium Z and a variety of offensive moves.

7 𒊎 Olivia's Story

Olivia has exactly the kind of look and attitude that you might expect from a powerful trainer. Player🦩s also encounter her much more often than Molayne throughout the course of the game. This means it's less of a surprise when she becomes one of the members of the Elite Four.

It's easy to see why Kukui chose Olivia as one of the members as she has the will and ability to b𝕴e 𓆏one of the Elite Four. She's already the Kahuna of Akala Island and at such a young age as well. Her ability to support and make something of herself is reflected by her Jewelry and Accessory store.

6 ꦑ 🗹 Olivia's Strength

Olivia's elemental focus is on rock-type Pokémon. She likes these types because of their sturdiness, physical strength, and general 🎃ruggedness. While she says that they are nothing like her, it's pretty apparent that she shares many of these traits on a mental and emotional level.

Olivia's Pokémon are Armaldo, Cradily, Gigaꦬlith, Probopass, and Lycanroc. Armaldo is a rock/bug type with powerful physical attacks. Cradily is a rock/grass type that is hard to remove. Gigalith is a pure rock type that summons a sandstorm and has strong physical moves. Probopass is a rock/steel type that is difficult to damage. Finally, Olivia's Lycanroc holds Rockium Z and is a major physical threat💫.

5 Acer♒ola's Story

Acerola's story has perhaps some of the most surprising elements to it, fitting for someone who prefers ghost Pokémon. She herself is a young girl, between 11 and 17 years of age. She's an orphan who lives at the Aether House and has somehow become the Trial cꦚaptain of the abandoned Thrifty Megamart on Ula'Ula island.

Furthermore, Acerola reveals about Alola. App🍬arently they, at some point, had a King. She is the last surviving member of this Royal Household. She also mentions that her father once owned the library that players visit in the game, remarking that these were all his books. Finally, she can communicate with ghost-type Pokémon.

4 ꧟ Acerola's Ability

Despite her youth and size, Acerola has what it takes to be a member of the Elite Four. Whether this is due to her own innate taleꦕnt, royal background, or ability to communicate with her Pokémon is up for debate. Regardless, she makes good use of the peculiarities that ghost-type Pokémon bring. It should be noted that she was a second choice member for the Elite Four, as the role was originally offered to Nanu.

Acerola's Pokémon are Banette, Drifblim, Dhelmise, Froslass, and Palossand♔. Banette is her primary physical attacker and has solid type coverage. Drifblim is a ghost/flying type that can cast curse but players need to be most careful of its Aftermath ability. Dhelmise is a ghost/steel type that has a variety of special type moves. Froslass is an ice/ghost type that can hit hard. Finally, Palossand is a ghost/ground type that holds the Ghostium Z.

3 Kahili's ꧒Story

Kahili is the one member of the Elite Four who is not encountered in any significant way prior to the final match. This makes it quite difficult to find out anything about her; ho𝔍wever, Kahili still has her own story to tell that shows why Professor Kukui chose her. To start, she is the previous champion of the Alola Island Challenge.

This means that, where many before her failed, she succeeded. Kahili is also a professional golfer and the daughter of the owner of the Hano Grand Resort. If you talk to her after completing the Pokémon League challenge, she'll give you a TM containing Tric🌃k Room. Finally, she wholeheartedly believes in practice, training, and self-☂improvement.

2 Kahili's Combat Prowess ♎

Kahili has 𒁃a lot tဣo live up to considering she's the previous Champion of the Alola Island Challenge. She favors flying-type Pokémon and has managed to acquire some very powerful ones at that. Her Pokémon are Braviary, Hawlucha, Oricorio, Mandibuzz, and Toucannon.

Braviary is a fast and powerful psychical attacker with a normal/flying typing. Hawlucha has the very rare typing of fighting/flying and has incredible physical damage coverage. Heꦍr Oricorio is a fire/flying type with lots of special attacks and a focus on dance moves. Mandibuzz is a dark/flying type with good bulk and solid physical attacks. Toucannon holds Flyinium Z and has the Skill Link abil💎ity which boosts multi-hit attacks, of which it has many.

1 The Rem🃏atches

One of the most obvious things in the Pokémon games is that they're not typically very challenging. Players tend to have much higher level Pokémon than their opponents, not so mention more of them. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon, players can have rematches with the Elite Four. What's special about this is that their 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon are at a higher level and have better moves.

Molayne gives his Pokémon moves which increase their type coverage. Olivia does much of the same but also makes them work towards their strengths even more. Acerola also does this but to an even more dramatic effect; for example, don't expect her Dhelmise to use its weak special attack anymore, as it now has physical moves. Finally, Kahili plays to her Pokémon's strengths, such𝓀 as giving her bulky Mandibuzz the Roost ability.
