As we've previously reported, Pokemon Unite's much-loathed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:bot accounts𒊎 use the names of real ⛎human players. One drawback of this method is that your mates can technically run into you when you're not even online and think you're playing really badly. But now, some players have discovered another likely unintended consequence of generating the fake accounts' names this way - it gives them some pretty weird names.

As spotted on r/PokemonUnite, some of these accounts have some, uh, not-so-safe-for-work names that developer Timi probably wouldn't want in circulation. It seems that these bots are taking names completely at random, with no sort of moderation process deciding which ones get used.

In a , user NoKarma0 shows that a bot in their match was called "Nutinabutt". This isn't a one-off either, with others in the replies sharing the oddly named bots they've encountered in matches.

Perhaps the best of the bunch is "milfhunter6🃏9", who was apparently agai𓆉nst two users in the replies. Elsewhere, Bren20x shares that they were against a Lucario fittingly called "LucariosAss".

Funnily enough, this is not the first time this has happened in a kid-friendly Nintendo game. Back when Mario Kart Tour first launched, the exact same tactic was deployed to give the impression that you were playing against humans (in fact, none of the opponents at launch were real people). Personally, the most memorab🦋le encounter I had was against a Koopa Troopa called "thotdestroyer" - nice one, Nintendo.

Alas, the names of the bots aren't even the worst thing about them. As was complained about frequently around Pokemon Unite's initial launch on Switch, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:they also play really, really badly. It's incredibly easy to spot when you are against bots, because they don't actually know the rules of the game, and will simply try and attack any Pokemon around them, and then flee when their health falls too low. Goals don't really concern them, and matches where the entire enemy team is full of bots can often end in minutes.

Pokemon🤪 Unite is out now, and is available to play on Swi🍸tch and mobile.
