In fact,ꦬ Talonflame isn’t effective in the side lanes. There’s no sustained damage that a regular Attacker would bring to a lane, and you’re pretty much limited to an all-in moveset. Stick to what Talonflame is good at — swooping in and decimating your foes. As these are two different builds, you’ll need to choose your style beforehand.
Talonflame: Kamikaze Build
This build uses the synergy between moves to deal𒅌 as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. It takes advantage of both the low cooldown of Aerial Ace and the cooldown-reset bonus that comes with using Brave Bird, chaining attacks together for maximum devastation.
When you use Brave Bird, you’ll get a bonus cooldown reset on Aerial Ace sh🧔ould you use a boosted basic attack within four seconds. You’ll need to take advantage of this, either by coming into the fight with your third boosted basic attack ready to go, or attacking quickly.
Pair Talonflame with the Muscle Band and Focus Band for damage and sustain when ganking lanes, with the Scope Lens for extra juice. You can even use the Razor Claw for a more offensive build. Eject Button is always a safe option for Battle Item, while X Speed and X Attack add to the potency of your attacks.
Talonflame: Extreme Speed Build
For this build, you’re looking to keep moving around the map, scoring when enemy goals are unguarded and coming to the aid of your side lane allies when theꦇy come under attack or are outnumbered by the opposition.
Fly allows you to pass through walls, and is 🧔both a 🌳great engage tool and potentially a better disengage tool should you become surrounded. Landing a hit also reduces its cooldown by a huge margin, meaning you can launch Flame Charge and by the time it’s finished Fly will be ready to go once again.
Attack Weight is easy to stack and is therefore a given, while Float Stone synergises perfectly with Talonflame’s mobility. Score Shield rounds out the build, given your focus on scoring, while Razor Claw also works. Opt for Eject Button or Goal-Getter as your Battle Item.
