Most fans can immediately acknowledge that Rock-type Pokémon are some of the weirdest in the franchise. This is because rocks usually aren't alive, and there are so many creatures in t♈he Pokémon franchise that are themed specifically around boulders and other such stones.
Rock-type Pokémon usually have a secondary type and generally have multiple evolutions. These Po𒐪kémon are some of the strangest that the franchise has ever seen, and the Rock-type contributes to this factor without a d🌸oubt.
10 Nospass
Most fans can immediately see why Nosepass is such a peculiar Pokémon because it has a large noseꦫ, and its name by itself is strange. The giant rock Nosepass confuses most fans upon seeing it because they wonder h꧑ow this Tiki head creature was initially created.
Regardless of how Nosepass was created, it will forever remain one of the weirdest Pokémon in the franchise, and its origin will be a mystery as well oth🍒er than the tiny snippets of info that fans have gotten throughout the past few generations for Nosepass.
9 Geodude
Geodude is a very strange creature, and it is mostly because of its peculiar design. Geodude floats in the air, and it is just one large rock💧 with limbs that seem to come out of nowhere.
The internal biology of Geodude is unexplained in the franchise, and fans wonder how it evolves into a creature such as Graveler because although they look similar in texture, they have very different designs. Ge🥃odude is one of the most strangely designed Pokémon of the Rock-typing, and fans will consider it that way forever.
8 Barbaracle 🍸
Barbaracle is even weirder than Geodude because it has a bunch of claws coming out of its bodꦍy, and it is supposed to be just a simple barnacle Pokémon.
The design of Barbaracle by itself is questionable; however, the fact that it has so many limbs, and it's body is barnacle based makes absolutely no sense. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Generation 6 had a lot of Pokémon that were based simply off of animals; however, Barbaracle changes this theme by adding one of the most🐻 pecuꦜliar creatures ever to be seen in the franchise to date!
7 Onix
Onyx is a giant rock monster, and it seems to be based on a snake while also a boulder. This combination is just as weird as it sounds because most fans wouldn't expect to see so🍌mething like this, even in the Pokémon world.
Fans got to experience 𒅌this Pokémon within the anime because Brock owned one has a signature Pokémon, and Onyx is 🅷also well-known because of its interesting design. At the very least, Onyx has one of the most unique designs from Generation 1 and in the Rock-type in general.
6 Lycanroc
Lycanroc isn't peculiar because of its design; rather, it is because it can ev𝄹olve into three different Pokémon depending on the time of day. Players aren't completely sure why this process occurs; however, it would be nice to have some form of explanation.
This ability is shared by a few other Pokémon; however, Lycanroc takes it to the next level because of how different these three Pokémon are🍷 from each other. Perhaps there is a reason for this; however, it was never explained within the Pokémon anime or video games, and hopefully, there will be an answer in the future.
5 Rhyperior
Rhyperior comes from two previous Pokémon that aren't strange at all; they're based on rhinoceroses. Generally, Rhyhorn and Rhydon's designs aren't particularly uജnique, but then in the ꩵSinnoh region, Rhyperior was added into the franchise.
This final evolution 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rock-type turns orange in color and gets much wider in terms of its body mass. Unfortunatel🍎y, most fans prefer Rhydon to Rhyperior, and this is simply because it is much less strange of a Pokémon.
4 Lileep
Most fans would never 🌞expect Lileep to be a Rock-type, and the only reason that it has this type is that it is a fossil Pokémon. This Pokémon is based on sea lilies, and it is actually much more powerful than it initially appears.
Lileep will hang onto the seafloor and capture its prey using its tentacles and largemouth. Lileep is strange both in design and the way that it fights during battles and Pokémon fans are enamored by th🦩is Pokémon, but also creeped out. That is no surprise because it does have a very creepy appearance.
3 Corsola
Corsola is a cute Pokémon, and a lot of fans a🗹dore it because of its pink coloring and childlike appearance. However, just because a Pokémon is cute doesn't mean that it isn't weird, and this seems t🍸o be the case with Corsola from the region.
Corsola is themed afte𒉰r a piece of coral, and it resides within the oceans of the Pokémon world. This pink Pokémon is simply a giant piece of coral that somehow sprouted a face and is now animal-like. What could be weirder than a living piece of coral?
2 Sudowoodo
Sudowoodo is famous in the franchi𝓰se because, similar to Onyx, Brock had one as one of the Pokémon he traveled with. Although Sudowoodo is very interesting in its design, it is also one of the stranger creatures to come out of generation🦩 2.
Sudowoodo is always seen w♋ith a jovial look on ita face, and this is weird considering that a lot of trainers don't initially warm up to it quickly. Sudowoodo is also weird because of its plant-like structure, while also having a humanoid appearance.
1 Shuckle
Shuckle is one of the weakest Pokémon to be introduced in the franchise; however, it can be used competitively if players strategize well. Regardless, Shuckle has a design that is confusing because fans can't figure out if iꦕt is based on a turtle, some other kind of animal, or both.
Shuckle ha🐬s tentacles coming out of its shell and a smirking face that also is very skinny and limb-like. Shuckle's theme is the mold Pokémon, and that raises even more questions about the peculiar biology that Shuckle is born into.
