Well, evidently none of those people were TCG players, because Eevee’s 🐽Eeveelutions are without a doubt the most popular cards. Pikachu and Charizard are still big money makers of course, but if you wanna talk about hype, show a TCG player a new Umbreon card and watch them lose their minds.

Prismatic Evolutions is the most exciting set in years - maybe even since Evolving Skies - and the hype behind it really speaks to the popularity of Eeveelutions. Everyone has their favorite, and it’s fun to collect all eight of them. They’re almost like a microcosm that represents the entire appeal of Po💦kemon. Each one perfectly represents their element in their personality-filled design. They’re perfect Pokemon, the only problem is that we don’t have more of them.
The Reason There Are No More New Eeveelutions
Every time the Eeveelutions are centered I have mixed emot💜ions. I love how perfect they are, and I resent that we’ll never get more of them. With only nine of Pokemon’s 18 types represented, it feels like an incomplete collection. Like a Pokedex with nine ‘?’ entries, I won’t feel satisfied until a🍌ll other Eeveelutions are discovered.
Maybe I could make peace with only having eight Eeveelutions if the reason there aren’t any more wasn’t so ridiculous. While the claim is unverified, Pokemon leaker Centro Leaks, who shared lots of supposed internal details from Game Freak last year, says that a Flying-type Eeveelution was planned to be introduced in Sun & Moon, but that it was put on hold be♊cause the design was too similar to one a fan had created.
This is completely unavoidable. Pokemon has been around for almost 30 years, and Fakemon have existed just as long. Every design you can possibly imagine has already been created by someone, or at least something similar to it, especially Eeveelutions. It’s the obvious place your mind goes when imagining a new Pokemon. What would a Ghost-type Eeveelution called Spookeon look like? What about a Dragon-type called Drakeon? There a𒁃re probably millions of fan-made Eeveelution🦂s out there - which goes to show how badly fans want them.
Game Freak Shouldn’t Care About Fakemon
It’s impossible for Game Freak to avoid making a new Eeveelution that doesn’t have any similarities to fan-made ones, and there’s also nothing wrong with that. Is Game Freak worried about being sued b𒉰y a fan who posted a fake Pokemon on their DeviantArt account? It’s far more likely that Game Freak would be suing them. We live in a post-Palworld reality, this shouldn’t be the reason that stops us from getting new Eevees.
Our own 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ben Sledge is more optimistic. Last year he wrote that it’s just a matter of time until we get a new Eeveelution, and suggested some ways one might work with existing evolution stones and mechanics. But that was before the Game Freak leaks, and now that we know (assuming the leak is true) that a new Eeveelution was designed for Sun & Moon but scrapped, I don’t have any hope ✃for a new Eeveelution anymore. We’re four generations and more th꧅an ten years since the introduction of Sylveon, so now every Eeveelution event is just a sad reminder that Game Freak will never give us what we want.
