What do big-name streamers do when they're not playing games on Twitch or YouTube? Well one of them creates a company that helps other content creators break into the big leagues. Imane "Pokimane" Anys has co-founded , a consulting firm for aspiring esports stars and content creators.
As reported by , the talent mana😼gement company offers consultation for fresh new Twitch streamers, YouTube personalities, and anyone else creating content within the gaming sphere. Pokimane, who has 8.3 million followers on her Twitch channel, said she will use her newfound position as chief creative officer to cater to content creators who are just starting to carve out their careers, all in an endeavor that the wider society once deemed impossible.
"I keep seeing amazing creators that are doing wonders with their content and streams, but they don't have the support to grow their brand and business operations," Pokimane said. "They're spinning their wheels on basic stuff and taking a lot of frustrating partnership deals that don't work out for either party."
RTS launched on Wednesday, and a cast of gaming industry veterans have been selected to be among its staff. Stuart Saw, a former executive of Twitch and Endeavor, will serve as the startup's CEO, while other executives will comprise veterans with backgrounds in Twitch, PUBG Corporation, and more.
"Imane and I began talking last year on how we can build RTS to reimagine the creator economy and esports in a way that focuses on the sustainability of our industry,” . “She has such a keen eye on the business which will be a huge asset to creators and brands who truly want to make a longꦆ-term difference."
RTS is named after gaming's time-honored genre, real-time strategy. The name and acronym fit the company's mission to help streamers turn their favorite hobby into a full-fledged career. It won't guarantee them the same level of success or fame gained by Ninja or even Pokimane herself, but it will hopefully get them somewhere stable.
