The addition of a new legend is perhaps the most exciting part of each new season of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends. New map locations or weapons are nice and all, but it's always fun to play as a fancy new character with new abilities, plus it ☂changes up the meta and creates fresh team synergies and strategies.

Even though Season 5 is barely a week in, we here at TheGamer can't help but wonder who Apex's next hero will be. Thanks to a long list of leaks on the internet there's a whole g𒆙ang of potential new characters that could make it into the game come Season 6, but the question is, which one could it be?

Leaks And Likelihood

via GamesRadar

If we go back to that original 168澳洲幸运5开🅰奖网:list of legends that was leaked last year, a surprising amount of them have wound up in the game. Characters like Octane, Wattson, and Crypto all ended up in Apex Legends looking almost exactly like they did in their early leaked images. Meanwhile, Revenant and Loba were also in the leaks, although they received some tweaks such as ch꧃anging their respective names from Nomad and Rosie and altering their designs (especially in the case of Rosie/Loba). If we go by this and more recent leaks, there's a decent chance that the next legend could also be someone from the datamined lists or at least someone who will inherit some of the rumored abilities.

There are four classes of characters in Apex Legends: offensive, defensive, recon෴, and support. There isn't a real pattern to the way Respawn has added new legends each season, but it's probably safe to assume that the next one won't be a support class character. Granted, there are only two support characters at the moment - poor Loba and Lifeline are the only ones out there trying to help - so it wouldn't be surprising if they decide to bolster the ranks by adding in a third support. We've also gotten Octane and Revenant as recent additions, putting the offensive class at a whopp༺ing five characters. Considering we just got a support class character and how overstuffed the offensive category is, it's likely that the next legend will be in the defensive or recon class.

So, with all that in mind, who do we think is the most likely to be the 14th legend to arrive when Season 6 rolls aroun꧅d?

O'er The Rampart We Watched

via TOP10 Esports

Going by both the leaks and the assumption that the next character could be a defensive class, Rampart seems highly probable as the next legend. , Rampart is listed as  "Char_14", as if he was slated to be character #14. Which seems pretty ironclad since Loba wꦫas previously identified as "Char_13". His name has been one of the most consistent ones across the litany of the different leaked lists🐬, so it might finally be time for his in-game debut. The only thing that hasn't been consistent is his design, as the name Rampart has been both associated with the rough, burly gentlemen in the image above on the left, or the more dorky-looking helmeted chap on the right.

Along with that important tidbit of information, he looks to be a military type with defensive abilities. He can deploy some form of barrier that can be used as cover and to boost the damage of outgoing shots, he can place a mounted heavy machine gun as his ult, and he has a wrench which various leaks have said can 🐻"repair structures" (whatever that means.) Adding a new defensive character makes total sense since the last one was Wattson back in July of 2019.  Based on all this, Rampart as the next legend makes total sense.

Mystery Solved....Or Is It?

via Dexterto

While Rampart is the most plausible legend there are other candidates that Respawn could add if they feel like pulling 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:another Forge-esque swerve on the fans. Another recon character could be put in instead, which could mean someone like Blisk, whose kit seems to be focused on marking enemies and hunting them down, plus he has a very deep connection to the lore of both Apex and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Titanfall. There's also a chance that due to the low nu🃏mber of supports in the game, they might just go ahead and add in a third one. That could be someone like Conduit, whose abilities are focused on shield recovery. Or Respawn could just say screw it and shove a sixth offensive legend in e🐬arly, in which case someone like Valk who can fly and fire rockets would be a welcome addition.

But going by the evidence, Rampart almost seems like a lock to be the 14th legend. His defensive loadout combined with the unusual accuracy of thes♉e datamined leaks puts him at the top of our suspect list. Of course, now th꧂at we've written this article, there's a chance that Respawn will make a trailer where Rampart is violently murdered by Downfall or Jericho to teach us internet sleuths a lesson about daring to predict what they'll do next.

We won't know the truth about legend #14 until Season 6 of Apex Legends rolls around, but we're willing to bet that you'll be playing with෴ someone carrying a big gun and a bꦚig wrench sooner than you think.
