What it would be like to collect all kinds of magical ingredients, come up with your own fantastical creations, and become rich off of selling them to soon-to-be heroes? Well, the upcoming game Potionomics tackles just that.
Announced today at the PC Gaming Show, Potionomics is a brand new RPG/simulation game from Voracious Games that gives you the chance to run your own potions shop. Players take on the role of Sylvia, a young witch who finds herself in hot water when she's hit with some greedy loan sharks looking to take over her shop. To escape her debt, Sylvia must step up her potion-making game, team up with a skilled economist (whoꦺ's trapped in the body of an owl) and sell enough of her homemade concoctions to pay back her debt.
Along the way, Sylvia will encounter a number of colorful characters as they visit her shop, and RPG fans will recognize appreciate the number of different archetypes from their faܫvorite games. Players will have to break out their customer service skills as they interact with this colorful cast o𓃲f characters. Sylvia will also have to manage her stress levels as she haggles with customers, especially those with some extra tricky personalities.
But potion-making isn't just about selling the potions - players will also have to think critically when ♈it comes to collecting ingredients and 🦩creating their own unique recipes. Sylvia isn't the only potion-maker in town, and she'll have to prove to her customers that her potions are the best.
Additionally, players will get a chance to customize their shop by buying furniture and decorations, maki🐲ng it asℱ quaint and colorful as they please.
