Yesterday afternoon, the official Twitter account for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid revealed that the upcoming Google Stadia port of its nostalgia-laden tag fighter would be getting crossplay support with all pre-existing versions. That includes PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, making this the first game on the market to꧙ have five-way crossplay. That's a monumental achievement that all developers should be striving for.

Strides have been made during this past generation to finally break down the barriers of online console infrastructures and allow gamers of any box to play together. We first saw this hit Minecraft before it would later come to Rocket League and Fortnite. Capcom also famously launched Street Fighter V exclusiveꦕly on the PC and PS4 to get around Sony's 🦩then dismissive approach to crossplay.

Right as we're on the cusp of a new console generation, not enough games are including this feature. Mortal Kombat 11 currently locks crossplay to only PS4 and Xbox One and Capcom has yet to introduce the feature to its ridiculously popular Monster Hunter World. While those games might be built on technology that cannot support interconnectivity (which I doubt), what is the excuse with looter shooter MMOs like Destiny and The Division? Need I remind everyone that Final Fantasy XI actually supported crossplay between PC, PSဣ2, and Xbox 360?

There may have been barriers in place 🔜in the years before Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo relaxed them, but each company is willing to play ball now. It's time to stop hiding behind the excuse of incompatibility and start implementing these systems for your fans. This would be a tremendous boon to online communities, ensuring that gamers won't need to buy a speciꦆfic version of a game just to find active matches.

With Triple-A games becoming increasingly obsessed with making "live-service" style titles, it would only make sense for every game to include crossplay. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is proof that the feature is entirely possible regardless of whether or not a physical console is even in the picture. If nWay can get a Stadia version working with a Switch version, then why is Destiny 2 on Stadia not cross-compatible with the cons🅷ole ports?
