The for♔mula is pretty simple: Aim and launch at the Opponent and get propelled at a running stream of Mojo minions which you must hit to maintain greater speed, getting you a further distance to beat your record. Other features include beating up a stuffed panda bear for premium rewards, and either avoiding or overtaking various Troublemakers for bonus boosts throughout the rounds.
A Pinch of Angry Birds
Launching from a slingshot to damage and eventually K.O. an Opponent starts the game off in a fashion reminiscent to Angry Birds, though the girls are slingshotted through the same course instead of various levels. More Opponents are unlocked as you defeat the previous one, and you may accrue boosts and bonuses after each round. This builds options as the game progresses much like💙 how the battalion of Angry Birds grows and switches out. Brick walls act as level markers, taking several ro🍰unds to bust through. However, it is horribly amusing to watch the girls batter through them, usually getting wedged inside as many an Angry Bird has within their own obstacles.
A Dash of Robot Unicorn
A simple foundation, the game escalates quickly as the girls rake in the coins to buy more boosts which enable them to make it further in the next round. Sounds a lot like a familiar mythical Robot who liked to jump and dash across large crags to run as far as it could. These are known as Upgrades, Troublemakers, and Opponents. These boosts and unlockable characters make for easier advancement, furthering game progress, or shaking up the rounds a bit.
Upgrades offer a wide range of boosts. So꧑me enhance existing stats like speed or Power Bashes. Others make new advancements entirely, such as elbow pa🐼ds to break falls, and simple good luck, causing good things to happen more often. All Upgrades are also further upgradeable for even bigger boosts.
Troublemakers consist of a selection of bad guys from the Powerpuff Girls series. The girls will adopt the Troublemaker's boost if they crash into them. Usually, they are riding something, so overtaking the Troublemaker will commandeer their vehicle, making for a huge distance boost a lot of the time. Be aware, bashing into certain Troublemakers, or hitting some in the wrong place can have adverse effects.
The selection of Opponents is made up of more notable bad guys from the TV series. Each round starts with aiming and launching at the selected Opponent, causing a percentage of damage each time. The girls incrementally work the Opponent's health down over several rounds, culminating in a K.O. and unlocking the next Opponent. A better hit on the Opponent awards a better launch. Critical hits make for the best launch boost and clear previous distance records in a breeze.
Beat Up Allegro
Allegro is a fun sort of mini-game feature. Beat up the stuffed pand𓆉a to earn rewards. These usu꧟ally consist of coins, discounts on Upgrades, Troublemakers, or Opponents, pickles (premium currency), or Monsieur Ducky who will provide the girls with an extra boost when needed most.
Unfortunately, Allegro holds the only real downside to the game, ಌwhich is having to watch a video in order to beat him up. Luckily, however, a free Allegro every three hours is soon unlocked. He upgrades automatically as well, awarding bigger and better stuff when he does.
Pickles are the "bestest" currency ever to a super-powered little girl, apparently. These vinegary delights buy premium boosts and abilities from the in-game ꦿGoodies shop.
After so many rounds, Missions are unlocked, awarding premium rewards along with energy for filling up Time Cells, presu🦄mably (Time Cells become a feature in the later game). These quests usually have requirements, like completing two critical hits in a row or squashing X amount of enemies.
