After opening about fifty, the surprise was that there were now enough fragments to purchase around 35 more Lockers, and when those were open, enough for about 50, and the number kept rising. As seen at the end of the video, we had opened several hundred Field Lockers and had enough Veritanium Fragments to purchase another 120. As the p🐻ool of cosmetics shrinks with more and more duplicates, it appears that this will continue and allow players to unlock all cosmetics in a short time while also raking in the in-game currency. This may be by design, but it feels like something that developer Illfonic will patch out shortly.
Now, this collection was not tracked in a meticulous manner, otherwise it would be far easier to compile findings and speak with greater certainty about where this threshold lies for infinite Field Lockers. My account is currently level 66, and in total before noticing this upward trend in a net positive fragment gain, I estimate having opened around 120 Field Lockers, roughly 70 awarded fro🐬m leveling up, and the rest through purchasing with currency.
This means that players might expect to see similar results after opening 120 Field Lockers of their own, though again each player will be different based on their luck. The point is that there is clearly a threshold to reach where the cost of purchasing a Field Locker tips into the negative numbers, and frꦑom there, its Veritanium Fragments all the way to the bank! Luckily, Veritanium Fragments are easy to come by and players can quickly do this on their own with regular ga𓄧meplay.
