Despite the sense of urgency you might feel when playing Prey, the game really rewards your for exploring and going on lengthy side missions. These quests often have quite a bit of loot at the end which will help 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Morgan Yu survive just a bit longer in the harsh Typhon-infested environment of Talos-I. From Neuromo🐓ds to recyclables, side quests really are the best way to stock up.
One of the many side missions Morgan can undertake is the Talos Smuggling Ring Quest. This has you searching around the station for six hidden stashes, which can be incredibly difficult if you have no idea where to look. By this point, the station is crawling 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:with quite advanced Typhon enemies as well, so knowing where to go is preferable. Here's how to find those stashes in no time and claim your rewards.
How To Start The Talos Smuggling Ring Quest
You'll first need to actually start the quest before you can begin looking for the stashes. In order to do that, you must unlock the Arboretum level in the game. This happens once you've passed through the G.U.T.S. maintenance tunnel section, and entered the garden-like upper levels of Talos-I. Nearby the two turrets that guard the entrance to the elevators that take you back to the lobby of the station, you'll find the body of Lily Morris opposite to the broken electrical junction. Listen to her TranScribe and the quest will start.
Another way to get this quest is to enter the Shuttle Bay, but this only happens naturally later on during the game, so it's not necessarily advised. However, if you missed Lily Morris' body in the Arboretum and find yourself in the Shuttle Bay, make sure to get to Eddie Voss' body instead and listen to this TranScribe. His body is within the Sky Lounge area of the Shuttle Bay, near the windows.
Starting the quest like this is one thing, but actually getting hints on each location is another. There's actually a note found within the game that can help you guide you to each of the stashes, but you'll need to get outside of the station to find it.
Nearby the Crew Quarters area there's a hull breach, with Lily Morris' habitation pod inside. You'll find her note detailing the location of all six stashes inside. If for some reason you can't get to this area, worry not, because we also have this information.
Where To Find The Six Hidden Stashes In The Talos Ring Smuggling Quest
These six stashes are hidden all around the station, and finding them randomly isn't an option. Without Lily Morris' note, the task is practically impossible, since there's quite a bit of backtracking to do.
In total, there are five different locations you must visit to find all six stashes. The stashes require you to have a wrench, and are often marked with a red light or an alarm that needs to be rung or activated three times, as detailed in Lily Morris' TranScribe.
Stash One: Arboretum
The easiest one to get to is the stash in Arboretum. You'll most likely pick up this quest while visiting the area for the first time, so you might as well pick up the first stash here as well.
Above Lily Morris' body which you found inside the hallway leading to the elevator, with the broken electric junction, there's a red bell. Hit it three times with your wrench and it w꧅ill open up to r༺eveal a secret safe behind it.
- Loot: 1 Neuromod, GLOO Canisters
Stash Two: Crew Quarters
Head to the Crew Quarters from the Arboretum for the next closest location, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:watch out for a Nightmare. This stash is hidden inside the fitness center, so make sure to get the new access code for this area at the terminal just before the fitness center entrance.
Once you're inside, turn right, and you should spot a red bell up on the wall, close to the ceiling in the right corner of the first floor area. You might need 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to path yo♎ur way up to it using your GLOO Cannon. Again, hit the alarm three times to open the stash.
- Loot: 1 Neuromod, Exotic Material
Stash Three: Hardware Labs
Back in the Hardware Labs, there's on inconspicuous spot where a stash is located. Go past the security checkpoint to enter the main floor of the Hardware Labs and take the lift upstairs where the small medical bay is located. You'll notice a statue on the second floor near the lifts, and behind it is a familiar alarm bell that you need to ring. Using 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the GLOO Cannon, path your way up to it.
- Loot: 1 Neuromod
Stashes Four And Five: Talos I Lobby
There's two different stashes located back over in the Talos I Lobby where you started your journey. The first one is located in the hallway left of the bathrooms on the first floor, on the right hand side up on the wall. A bit of GLOO Cannon building should get you close enough to it to ring the bell three times once again. Inside, you'll get some rare PSI Hypos for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your Typhon powers.
- Loot: 2 Neuromods, 2 PSI Hypos
The second location is across the lobby inside the museum-like exhibition area where you most likely fought your first Phantom in the game. The alarm bell is found right next to the doorway that's on the window-side of the lobby. It's a bit high from the floor again, so you'll probably need one shot of GLOO to climb up to it. Hit it with a wrench three times to reveal its secrets.
- Loot: 1 Neuromod, 2 Recycler Charges
Stash Six: Cargo Bay
The Cargo Bay is the final location where the sixth stash can be discovered. It's in a fairly safe location as well, provided you come here when human survivors are still alive (and kept alive).
In the main area where you end up after docking back into the station, head inside the secure area where survivors are and go to the second floor. There's a room with a terminal and some food for the survivors. For reference, Sam Hertz is usually in this room. On the wall, you'll notice the red bell.
- Loot: Weapon Kit Fabrication Plan, 1 Neuromod, 1 EMP Charge
