Guess Who’s back. Back again. Prey is back. Tell a friend.

For a lot of gamers, Prey is a title that just didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Critically, it was well-received, but sales just weren’t up to snuff. The multiplatform horror FPS was notably by the switch exclusive Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on launch, which♍… well, doesn’t bode well for a big mult🔯iplatform release. Considering that this was before the Switch blew up.

There were a couple of different facไtors involved here. A major one would be Bethesda’s attitude towards reviews, and understandable gamer caution as a result. The game did make in the UK sales charts after its launch, but that’s a bit of a PR nightmare that’s tough to recover from in the long run.

Regardless of all of this, though, there’s noꦅ doubt that Arkane had something special on their hands with൩ this one, and it’s fantastic to see official murmurings that we’ve got more from Morgan Yu to look forward to.

regard Prey as “one of the best games of 2017, hands down,” and they reported this week that the team at Arkane definitely seem to be working on… something for it. Over on , things are kicking into action again. Enigmatic,♔ anagram-based things, granted, but the game’s many fans will happily take that.

Apart from Tweeting out crucial questions like How many seats have you decided not to sit in thanks to mimics?, the team have been ram🐽ping up the hype around the game once more. Nothing specific has been confirmed, but we’ve seen these tweets in particular are pointing to s🔯omething:

As the sleuths of the web quickly realised, the capitalised letters are an anagram for good morning, Morgan. As anyone who’s played Prey will know, these are some deceptively meaningful words. Something is stirring over at Prey HQ, that’s for sure.

Just🔯 what they may be is being kept under wraps for now. Still, impatient fans will do well to remember that E3 is just around the corner. Perhaps we’ll get✱ some answers there?
