In total, there are six time powers for Sargon to unlock in The Lost Crown, with each one usually coming after a tough boss battle or important moment in the story. Unlocking each power will open up new paths for the player around the 🐟map and allow you to uncover more of Mount Qaf. That's right - it's a Metroidvania.

🐬 Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Review - A Worthy Heir To The Two Thrones
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown might tell a disappoin♎ting story, but it's also got some of the series' best platforming, combat, and puzzles.
How To Unlock Time Powers
Time Powers are unlocked by collecting the Feathers of Simurgh, which show up at specific points in the sto♐ry. You'll know you're on the right path when the screen starts t🐽o turn blue and Sargon has to crawl towards the feather. Once you've grabbed it, you'll get a new Time Power.
Aside from a few points in the story that let you choose which to go for first, you'll unlock the powers in a specific order, so don't worry about missing any of them. They're also all mandatory for progression - they're all a key part of the story, so you'll be guided towards them in order to finish the main quest🍰.
If you see something in the world that you can't interact with or get past, it's likely that you need a new Time Power.💎 Once you've unlocked one, you'll be given a quick rundown of how to use it that should clue you in to what you need to do in prꦚeviously unexplorable areas.
How To Unlock The Rush Of The Simurgh
The first Time Power that you're going to unlock in The Lost Crown is the Rush of the Simurgh, which can be picked up after starting the second main quest, The Abducted Prince. To get this power, you're going to need to take on Jahandar the Manticore in the Lower City, whi🎃ch is one of the game's first big skill checks.
After defeating Jahandar, walk to the right and leave the arena and Sargon will find himself right in front of the first Simurgh feather. Grab it and you'll b💛e awarded the Rush of the Simurgh.
As the name implies, this Time Power allows Sargon to perform a quick dash in the air that propels him forward or backwards. It's an e🅰ssential tool to getting past tricky platforming sections, and will become a key part of your arsenal as you play through the game. It also has some combat potential since it can be used as a way to dodge attacks.
How To Unlock The Shadow Of The Simurgh
The next Time Power that you'll unlock is one that should seem familiar to Prince of Persia fans - the Shadow of the Simurgh. To unlock this new move, you'll need to beat Vahram at the end of the second main quest in the game and make a small amount of progress in the third main quest, The Tiger and the Rat.
This part of the game has you exploring The Depths and chasing after an old man to get your map back. Follow the main path for a while and you'll eventually come up against an alternate version of Sargon, resulting in a quick boss battle. Beating him will not only award you an Athra Surge, but it'll also give you another feather that unlocks the Shadow of the Simurgh.
This power is one of The Lost Crown's most important and most complicated. By pressing a button, Sargon leaves a time-displaced version of himself that can be teleported to with another button press, keeping his momentum and movement. Not onl🐠y is it essential for puzzles, but it can also be used in combat to pull off some flashy moves.
How To Unlock The Dimensional Claw
Once you've gotten the second Time Power you'll start the fourth main quest, The Path To The Sand Prison, where Sargon will be tasked with finding two more that can be used to unlock the next part of the story. This part of the game will allow you to choose which Time Power you want to go for first - for the purposes of this guide, let's go towards the Hycanian Forest to get the Dimensional Claw.
Once you reach the objective marker in the Hycanian Forest, Sargon will find himself going up against Kiana, one of the toughest bosses in the game that requires a lot of good timing, countering, and skill to defeat. Once you've defeated her, you'll be able to get the next feather and unlock the Dimensional Claw.
This is one of the more unique powers in the game that lets Sargon rip a tear in space and time to store an item or enemy that can then be fired back out as a projectile. These projectiles can be used to break down the glowing golden walls with cracks in them that you've likely see꧃n around the map up until this point.
How To Unlock Clairvoyance
The second Time Power you need to unlock to advance past the fourth main quest is Clairvoyance. The area you need to go to for this power is the Sacred Archives. Once at the objective marker, you'll have to complete four time-based puzzles (that can be quite chal🐻lenging) to get the feather and unlock this power💟.
Clairvoyance is probably the least useful of all the Time Powers in The Lost Crown as it's very situational. By pressing the right stick, you'll be able to make shiny purple platforms appear or disappear, which allows Sargon to move through them or sꦗtand on top of them. A simple power, but one that's n🐻ecessary to finishing the game.
How To Unlock Gravity Wings
The fifth Time Power in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is without a doubt the most helpful. You'll unlock it shortly after beating the fifth main quest in the game, The Darkest Of Souls, which ends with a climactic boss battle against Azhdaha, a massive snake who puts up a mighty challenge.
Once you've defeated Azhdaha, you'll be given your next task, which is to summon four Celestial Guardians across the map. Once you've summoned the first one, who is in the room to the left of you, return to Azhdaha and you'll be awarded with the Gravity Wings.
The Gravity Wings give Sargon the ability to double-jump which, as you can imagine in a Prince of Persia game, is a massive help for traversing the environment. There's really not that much more to it than being able to jump twice, but there are parts of the world you weren't able to reach before that you now will be able t𒁏o.
How To Unlock The Fabric Of Time
The final Time Power that The Lost Crown has to offer you is another banger, but one that you're going to find quite late into the game. To unlock the Fabric of Time, you're going to need to beat the seventh main story quest, Return To The Past. This mission has you fighting someone who I 🔜won't spoil here for the second time in one of the game's best boss battles.
Once you've finished this fight, you'll have to sit through a cutscene that sees Sargon receiving his final Time Power in a unique method that strangely doesn't involve the Simurgh feather. That doesn't matter, though, as once you've beaten this boss and moved onto the eighth and semi-final main quest, you♏'ll have the Fabric of Time a♚bility.
This final Time Power basically gives Sargon a grappling hook that can be used to pull items down and slingshot himself from specific points in the map. You've likely run into them before, but you'll know if something can be grappled onto if it's glowing purple and and has a triangular shape to it.
