Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven unveiled the newest expansion for Prison Architect that has the player manage inmates on islands.
Set to launch June 11, 2020 for both PC and consoles Island Bound is set to change the dynamic of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Prison Architect in a large way. Instead of having to house inmates on land with its myriad of opportunities for escape prisoners are now held in place by the ocean itself. Of course, this also represents aꩲn interesting dilemma, as you must now navigate the difficulties of managing your own private island🦂 prison in the middle of the ocean.
According to the , the game will introduce a number of features such as logistical dilemmas of using both ferries and helicopters to receive supplies and transport inmates. These docking stations also introduce more access points for prisoners to have contraband snuck into the pri🍃son. These docks can be linked to helipads and even roads for more efficient delivery systems. There’s even the ability to decide which docks are for which services.
The ex🌠pansion also adds a variety of nautical based tiles and objects such as moats, rivers, and lakes to improve security or to enhance the aesthetics of your prison. It also includes a number of security features to make searches of both prisoners and incoming supplies easier. There are emergency services unique to island living such as Air Firefighters, Air Paramedics, and Elite Ops Teams as well.
Then for those looking for a challenge or simply a unique experience in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Prison Architect the expansion will test player’s managerial abilities wiꦯth two premade maps; Alcatraz Prison and Alcatraz Island.
Steacy Mcllwham, Product Manager for the franchise at Paradox Interactive explains that this is the first full expansion built by the company since they purchased the franchise in 2019. It’s also the first expansion that will see simultaneous release on the PC and consoles. While players are waiting for the expansion’s release Paradox Interactive has put out a free expansion, Cleared For Transfer that includes various security features like Sectors and reward for good behavior. They’ve also unveiled The Bucket, a💎lso free, which adds a number of decorative item🥃s for the prison.
If the expansion goes well, it’s a prime example of how the game will be improved by having the backing of a company like Paradox Interactive. Rather than spamming the market with sequel after sequel, the developers prefer to add in features and content updates over the course of several years. It’ll be exciting to see what they cook up after the Island Bound expansion comes out.
