Vault 13, a fan-made Fallout 1 remake built from the ground up within 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 4, announced earlier today that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the project had been cancelled due to "burnout" and "difficulty in recruiting".
Throughout its development, the team shared assets with the fan-made Fallout 2 remake Pr🌸oject Arroyo. Given the pair's close relationship and similar ambitions of reimagining the classic Black Isle Studios games in the v🌠ein of Bethesda's more modern releases, I reached out to Project Arroyo to ask if Vault 13's closure had any effect on its own future.

We talk🌌ed to the Project Arroyo lead all about the fan-made 𓄧Fallout 2 remake, discussing the Highwayman, Frank Horrigan, going open world, and more.
"It doesn't impact our mod at all luckily," ꦬproject lead Damion Daponte told TheGamer. "Some of the 3D artists actually came over from [Vault 13] to our [team] so they can continue having something to work on."
What The Devs Are Saying On Discord
Fans raised similar concerns in the Project Arroyo Discord server about the cancellation of Vault 13 having a negativ🍸e impact on the fan-made Fallout 2 remake. But lead dialogue editor 'Jon' simply said, "We're not going anywhere."
"Our development pathway is completely different," Jon explained. "🤪We were just collaborating on assets, etc. It's definitely a bummer, hopefully, they come back with a vengeance and this is just a hiatus."
Daponte told us earlier this year that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Project Arroyo plans to la🐼unch on Stꦿeam.
Vault 13 will share all of the work it made up until its closure onto the Nexus Mods website in the "coming weeks", so if anyone wants to pick up the torch and continue development, they can. However, it might also benefit Project Arroyo; "At that point we may be given 🧸permission to incorporate their materials," Jon noted.
So, while it's certainly a shame to see Vault 13 cance𓃲lled, Project Arroyo powers on with its own development, seeking to bring Fallout 2 to an entirely new audience over two decades on from its launch.
If you want to keep up to date with Project Arroyo's progress, be sure to where t🦹heyﷺ post concept art, trailers, and in-game screenshots, as well as opportunities for fans to join the team.
