Project Relic, an upcoming multiplayer soulslike, debuted a new gameplay trailer at tonight's Future Games Show.

Project Relic is being developed by South Korean Studio, Project Cloud Games - a team of just nine people. As if creating a title for Dark Souls fans wasn't a large enough undertaking for the small team, Project Relic will also have multiplayer, although the team is yet to go over what that will look like.

Even if you ignore the gameplay, the visuals we see in the trailer are also triple A quality, despite Project Cloud Games being an indie studio. the use of lighting particularly stands out, when night falls, each sword blow and spell cast is your only source of light. It also appears that the open-world won't be static at all, as the trailer showed the player dodging out of the way of a tumbling bolder, perhaps indicating that we'll get to use our surroundings in combat.

Project 𒉰Relic has no set release date, but is aiming for an early 2023 launch. It will be available across PC, 👍PlayStation and Xbox.
