Square Enix's Project Triangle Strategy Demo is now available on the Nintendo eShop. The SRPG successor to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler, Project Triangle Strategy, inspired by classics such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy♌ Tactics, is a Nintendo Switch exclusive slated ꧋for release in 2022.
The game, which combines 2D and 3D artwork, has three nations battling for control of the shrinking resources of salt and iron. Players control a grꦍoup of warriors as Serenoa, heir to the Kingdom of Glenbrook.
The decisions made will reinf🐠orce one of three convictions — Utility, Morality, Liberty. For truly important decisions, multiple characters will cast their votes on the Scales of Conviction, which will “determine the fate of whole nations and the continent of Norzelia itself.”
“Finding the best location in turn-based battles can tip the tide of combat in your favor. Position units on highe🌄r ground to take control of the battlefield and gain the advantage with increased range. You can aཧlso flank enemies on both sides, then strike from behind for a powerful follow-up attack.
"Elemental chain reactions are a🅺lso an important part of combat. For ex🌠ample, use fire to melt icy terrain, then use lightning to electrocute it. Push the enemy into the electrified water to see sparks fly,” Nintendo says.
For the Project Triangle Strategy demo, which works like Bravely Default 2’s, Square Enix will provide players with a feedbackᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ survey t🍷hat will help shape the game. Project Triangle Strategy, which is at the moment a working title, is the next game in Square Enix’s HD-2D series.
Although details during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct wꦏere limited, Square Enix describes the game as a tactical RPG “full of choices and consequences.” Players can outsmart enemies during battle by using elevation, flanking, and linked attacks.
Project Triangle Strategy is one of several upcoming Square Enix games. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bravely Default 2, an RPG for Nintendo Switch is due to be released on February 26. Also, Balan Wonderworld, a platformer for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox X|S is due out March 26.
