To 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:coincide with the launch of the PS5, Sony redesigned PSN across all platforms. This includes accessing it from a browser. For thos♊e that missed the news, it meant that players could no longer buy PS3, PSP, or PS Vita games from the PC. This means that in order to๊ check prices and or authorize purchases, they must do so from the systems themselves.

This might be one step closer to Sony shutting down one, if not all, of these 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation systems’ game services and the digital only games will go with them. This has already happened with many games from the PS3 so to prevent the best games escaping history, ma🐓ke sure to get these games purchased and on the P﷽S3 on the double. It’s too late for the other half.

Updated May 5th, 2021 by Tristan Jurkovich: There is always a fear of digital games going away. That was the clear message of the original post in regard to PSN games. Then, not too long after, Sony announced they’d be destroying more than a handful of downloads aka entire storefronts.

They planned on shutting down the PS3, PSP, and PS Vita versions of the stores. To reverse course yet again, they decided to only shut down the PSP store which will happen this in July 2021. In honor of almost biting the big one, let’s go through a few more digital only PS3 games that already escaped the archives along with some that are still good to buy.

15 🎀 Safe: Moon Diver

Moon Diver promo art

This was a a Square Enix published game that was sort of like a four player version of the Strider series. Each ninja has their own weapons and techniques from heavy lifters to more agile heroes. It never got𒁏 a sequel or any real acknowledgement after it launched. That said besides this PS3 version it also went to Xbox 360 and is actually backwards comp🍎atible on Xbox One and obviously Xbox Series X then as well.

14 Gone: Age O🃏f Booty

Age of Booty gameplay screenshot

This game is an isometric pirate ship battle experience. It’s sort of like a more arc💯ade-like version of Sid Meier’s Pirates. What’s weird about this Capcom game is that it lasted for a long time on PS3 from 2008 to 2015. It also got delisted on Steam although the page is still up. One just can’t buy the game on there. It’s still on Xbox 360 though which means it’s also backღwards compatible so at least it’s not completely gone.

13 ✅ Safe: Way Of The Samurai 4 🔯

The Way of the S﷽amurai series can be as short or as long as one wants it to be. That is to say there are many paths to take, all of which aren’t that long giving the series some great replay value. This was the last in the serie✱s to come out. It was digital only release in North America, but it did get a physical release in Japan.

12 ꦅ Gone: World Gone Sour

World Gone Sour gameplay screenshot

This was a tie-in to the Sour Patch Kids candy and it was published by Capcom. It made 😼it on PSN in 2012 before getting delisted in 2015. The game got average reviews so it’s not one of those amazing platformers most missed out on. However, what made it unique and worth remembering was that it was narrated by Creed Bratton. Yes, that Creed from The Office. ꦦIt’s not available on any other platform either.

11 Safe: Dungeon Hunter: Alliance ꧙

Dungeon Hunter Alliance promo

As of right now Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is ꧂available across the PS3, P🦋S Vita, and even Mac computersꦚ. It’s a remake of an iPhone game which in itself was a cheap clone of Diablo. It doesn’t do anything new for the RPG genre but it was cheap to buy and great for quick co-op sessions. Those 🥃looking for a story will not be satisfied with this game, but again it can be mindless fun with a friend.

10 Gone: Fat Princess 🎉

Fat Princess promo

This was an interesting first-party multiplayer idea for a game. It was basically capture the flag only in this case t💎he flag was a princess.

Each side had to go through a battlefield in order to get to t꧟he opposing princess and bring her back to their keep. To prevent that from being easy, p💙layers could feed her cake to fatten her up and thus make the princess heavier to carry. It was weird but fun and why it’s gone is a bit weird.

9 Safe: Dus꧙tforce

Dustforce promo

As of right now Dustforce can be p♎urchased on PS3, Xbox 360, and Steam. So even if it does go away it might still be available on those other platforms. Anyway, this oddball platformer stars a bunch of super powered janitors essentially. Sweep leaves, build combos, and speed through mazes. Like many indie games it is a weird concept but good nonethe🤪less.

8 Gone: Marvel vs. 🃏Capcom ♚2

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 gameplay screenshot

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 has come out to too many consoles to name so a physical copy will always exist. However, the HD version now remains lost to time on all platforms it once existed on. This might be 🐈considered Capcom’s greatest fighting achiev🧔ement since Street Fighter 2. Like Super Smash Bros. Melee, this is the game the fighting community prefe🀅rs over all other entries. It’s a shame this polished version went away though.

7 ☂ Safe: Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn 🎶

Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn promo

This is the fourth entry in 𒀰the Gundam spinoff series to Dyn💟asty Warriors. Unlike all other versions this was a digital only release and it also only features Japanese audio with subtitles. The PS3 digital version was the only one to come out here, but Japan got a PS Vita version too. As it was a 2014 game🥀, over a year after the PS4 launched, this entry was quic𒁃kly overlooked and forgotten.

6 💮 Gone: Noby💟 Noby Boy

Noby Noby Boy gameplay screenshot

Noby Noby Boy was yet another weird experiment from the creator of Katamari Damacy. It was more of a playground than an actual game but the cheap price reflected that. The reason why this got so popular though was because data froಞm players was used to get Noby Noby Boy to his girlfriend in space. After the goal was reached player support started to dwind🍸le even though new goals were made which is probably why it was taken down.
