As rumors continue to swirl 🅷suggesting there might not be enough PS5s to go round at launch, a recent discovery hints that S♓ony will limit the console to one per person.
The arrival of the next generation of console is fast approaching and slowly but surely, gamers are learning more about what to expect. Both Sony and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Microsoft have been reluctant to reveal detail💮s about their respective consoles before their rival. Most ღnotably when it comes to the price, of which neither side has given any indication as to what that might be.
That hasn't stopped gamers from speculating about every last element of either console that is yet to be revealed. One of the rumors that refuses to go away is the one suggesting there will be a shortage of PS5 consoles at launch. A combination of Sony struggling to get a hold of components and fears that shipping the finished✤ articles will be a major problem thanks to the pandem🌟ic.
Perhaps the most telling indicator to date that there might not be enough PS5s to go around was unearthed this week. A ResetEra user did a little rooting around in the JavaScript on PlayStation's official online store. There, they discovered an error message that looks set to appear when preo🌌rders go live and gamers attempt to reserve more than one console at a time.
If the report is true, and the message does indeed go live when preorders do, it will read, "you can only purchase one version of the PS5 Console: Disc or Digital.👍 You have already added one PS5 console to your cart." That certainly seems to suggest Sony doesn't want one ꧋person buying up multiple consoles.
That being said, there are very few reasons why regular consumers would need to buy more than one PS5 at a time. Aside from parents wanting one for each of their children, or maybe even one for themselves, is there really any need to own more than one PS5? Even in that instance, how many families are there that don't share a console? Or purcꦡhase a rival console if they want to have two in the house? Plus, anyone who wants two PS5s bad enough will be willing to put in the extra leg work to make that happen.
