We've known for a while now that the next console from Sony is set to launch sometime around the close of 2020 but Dutch site Letsgodigital 🐻has helped leaked an exact date.
The publication has been handy with unreleased PS5 info for the last several months and, while the latest leak isn't coming directly from them, that they've decided to po🦂int to it probably means that it holds a bit of weight.
The reꦦvelations actually come from Twitter user PSErebus, who recently posted a number of tweets relatin🌞g to the inbound next-gen console. According to this source, the PS5 will launch in various countries during the holiday season and will be released in North America on November 20, 2020, at a cost of $499.
"Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will launch PlayStation®5 (PS5™) in several countries in the holiday season of 2020 and will make Pl𒁏ayStation®5 (PS5™) available in North America on November 20, 2020 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of $499," the tweet rea🎀ds.
Another tweet points to the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gran Turismo 7 on the same day while one claims that the♚ PS5 will be fully backward compatible and will play most discs right down to the original PlayStation.
To date, the account only has just over 1,800 followers so, of course, don't rely on this too heavily. The owner has even asked us to wait on the official announcements from Sony but does have the fact that they were spot on regarding the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us 2 going for them.
It was previously reported that the PS5 plus pertinent deets will be officially announced on February 12, 2020,🍷 during the PlayStation Meeting. Sony, though, has yet to confirm this.
What we do know for sur🌊e at this point is that the console will be available for purchase before 2021 comes arou🐼nd and we imagine gamers are already pretty excited over what's to come.
