We could get more news about the long-awaited PS5 Pro in the next couple of months, as Sony is reportedly starting pr🧸oduction in April. This will apparently come after a slimmer model is introduced this year, as Sony is seemiℱngly poised to phase out the current PS5 model.
This all comes from Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson, discussing the developments over at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation in a livestream. He says he hopes that we'll have more news on the PS5 Pro by the end of the month. However, the existence of the long-rumoured slim model also suggests 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Pro won't be with us until at least 2024, leaving us with current 🍎PlayStation hardware for a﷽ little while longer.
In a discussion on new PS5 hardware, Henderson says we can expect more information "in the next couple of months" as that's when "a lot more people are going to be made aware of the [Pro] console."
Right now, there's no information on how the Pro will distinguish itself from the current models. However, it is being reported that it will differ from the slimmer model 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:that's said to have a detachable disc drive.
Henderson goes on to say that this slimmer model will be in stores from September, with So💛ny planning to completely replace the current model by the end of 2023. This w🦋ill apparently be accomplished by producing fewer than one million ordinary PS5 units, and far more of the slim model.
After this is out the way, Sony will be open to release the PS5 Pro, so if you're in the market for the best PlayStation money can buy, you might want to hang on a while longer.
