Players logging into Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket this morning would have received a message notification. Here, they'd h🍃ave been greeted with the news that the Pokedex promo is available to claim.
The game's developers released the promo in celebration of 40,000,000,000, that's 40 billion (!!), cards being collected by players around ꦛthe world.
The promo can be claimed from the gift tab within TCG Pocket, and will be ava�꧙�ilable from January 20 to April 30 this year, so there's plenty of time to grab the card.
While it fundamentally works the same as the other Pokedex card in the game, allowing players to look at the top three cards of their deck, promo 008/P-A is a huge visual upgrade on its predecessor. The original card displays a simple Pokedex against an orange background, whereas this newly released one sho💝ws the same Pokedex surrounded by four of Kanto's most popular Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu. It's a shame it's a card that doesn't get much play.
