It's fair to say that many people waited a long, long time for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Psychonauts 2. The original Psychonauts developed a massive cult following, and for good reason. The mashup of quirky characters, a mysterious story, and clever platforming gameplay turned an otherwise basic experience into something truly special. Psychonauts 2 ups the ante, sometimes quite literally, with an even more polished and off-the-wall adventure starring Raz and his fellow Psychonauts. Psychonauts 2 is a game all about diving into the minds of others so it should come as no surprise that there are going to be so many zany events that take 𒆙place throughout the course of the game. It's quite clear from the opening hours of the game that Psychonauts 2 is going to be completely bonkers, but in the best way possible. Let's check out some aspects of the game that make no sense at all, but we still love them anyway.
10 The Psychonauts Secret Identity ♏
A big part of the Psychonauts is that they are supposed a secret agency, hidden from everything. While this na🐠rrative device isn't new to gaming, in Psychonauts it feels completely nuts. How does a very powerful agency keep its members a s🧸ecret?
Psychonauts seem to act in the shadows, helping to deal with situations that can only be solved via the power of the mind. It's hard to imagine an agency that maintains its secret identity, especially in a world where th๊e internet exists. However, this fictional world might be more antiquated than our own.
9 How Raz Is Already So Powerful 🌺
According to Ps⛄ychonauts 2, Raz is only ten years old even though he seems to act more like an adult than some of the actual adults in the game. While Raz did go to Psychonauts training camp in the first game, it's still hard to understand just how Raz has been able to develop his powers at such a young age.
It's always a🗹 special experience when the "profe🍌ssional" Psychonauts in the game are often left in need of assistance and only Raz is able to save the day.
8 The Hidden Facility 𒆙
In Psychonauts 2, you learn about the secret, massive facility that houses the most pow🍒erful aspects of the agency. This headquarters is a whole city in and of itself. It's clear from the first ch🉐apters of the game that the only way to get to this facility is by helicopter or some other hi-tech transport.
The game leads you to believe that the only ones that know about the Psychonauts headquart𝓀ers are𝓀 the Psychonauts themselves. It's hard to believe that this giant facility isn't known to more of the outside world give its illustrious presence.
7 Kids Are Allowed To Intern 🉐As A Psychonaut
Early on in the game, Raz joins up with a whole bunch of other kids who are a part of the Psychonauts internship program at the main headquarters. Typically in our modern world, we view internships as something young adults or older adults take part in. Howev🍸er, the internsh🤪ip in Psychonauts 2 is left open to young kids and teenagers.
The idea of the training camp 🌊from the first game made much more sense since many parents send their kids off to summer camp to learn new skills and make friends. It makes no sense at all that those same parents would also send their children to a powerful agency in the middle of nowhere.
6 Bre✤aking Into Peo🗹ple's Minds
It's possible that most aspects 🅷of Psychonauts 2 don't make any sense but that's precisely why the gaℱme is so wonderful. One of the main gameplay and narrative aspects that you engage with is the ability to open a door to others' minds.
The Psychonauts are clearly very powerful and they know how to use their telekiꦡnetic powers for both good and bad. Even Raz knows how to enter people's minds. The idea of shrinking down and entering a literal mind-door is bonkers but easily fits into the fabric of th𝓡e story.
5 ♏ Connecting The Dot🅰s
Upon entering a mind-door in order to explore theℱ thoughts🦂 of an individual, Raz is then able to make mind connections. Mind connections, in the co♏ntext of the game, are the ability for Raz to jump from points in the brain in order to rewire a person's thoughts.
It's hard to imagine how someone can literally leap into an🦂other person's brain and rewire their thinking patterns. The logi✅c of this is based on actual science but the fact that a Psychonaut is able to do this without the person's knowledge is frankly hard to believe but makes for some fun gameplay sections.
4 The Frankly Mag𝕴ical Abilities
Okay, the abilities the Psychonauts have aren't based on magic but are instead baseꦰd on powerful telekinetic powers that are learned throughout their lifetime, with lots of training and experience. However, these abilities don't seem out of place in the r🌼ealm of witchcraft and wizardry.
Raz, the interns, and their fellow professional Psychonauts are able to roll on magic energy balls, break into people's minds, s🅷ummon energy abilities to attack and defend, as well as a whole host of other powers. They don't really make sense but maybe that's because they are rooted in magic and mysticism.
3 💟 Literal Figmentsဣ Of The Imagination
Most 3D adventure platformers feature some sort of collectible and Psychonauts 2 is no different. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:♕The most common collectibles in the game are the literal figments of the imagination. These figments are brightly lit apparitions that make upꦉ a💟 person's thoughts.
Raz is able to run around and explore a whole plethora of areas in tꦚhe game, no matter how zany. Along his journey, he can walk into these colorful figments which help upgrade his rank and powers to become a stronger Psychonaut. It's hard to imagine that these ethereal figments can be picked up and stored.
2 Asl༒eep Or Awake? 🐼
One of the earlier narrative beats in Psychonauts 2 has Raz and h🥀is fellow intern friends infiltrate the mind of Hollis, 🍸the head of the Psychonauts agency. That may not sound all that unique but in order to do that, they must lie on floating beds and project themselves into the mind-door.
So, in essence, these young interns are able to separate a part of themselves in a sort of astral projection sort of ability. But back in the ꦚactual world, are they asleep or awake, or in some sort of trance? Regardless, it's a downright powerful ability and one that is hard to understand.
1 Falling Into The Abyss 🅺
This might be a smaller point but it begs to be brought up. As Raz explores the mind palaces of others in t🐈he world, yes, even the most powerful Psychonauts, he is able to fall off platforms into a brai🅷n abyss of sorts.
Honestly, this doesn't make much sense at all. What happens when Raz falls into this abyss? In the game, he just teleports right back to where he w🅘as at. While this might just be a projection of himself, it's still quite crazy to🧸 know that it doesn't hurt to do this within someone's mind.
