PUBG Corp. has relea♉sed a new video giving fans some insight into its methods of tac𒐪kling cheaters.
The battle royale has struggled with a cheating epidemic since it released in 2017 and, given that hacks are constantly evolving, it's becoming more difficult to target and punish persons looking to exploit the game in order to g🧸ain an unfair advantage over other pl🐠ayers.
Cheating isn't limited to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PUBG, though, as the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends have di💖fficulty with hacks as well. All three of the pertinent developers have been implementing measures to rid the game🤡 of cheaters.
PUBG's Anti-Cheat Unit in South Korea is tryiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚng its very best to make the game as hack-free as possible and has since published a video showing how its model works. To the unit's credit, it does seem intimidating, especially given the punishments, which include hardware bans for any system flagged on suspicion of a game hack.
Once a hack is recognized, the team liaises with international partners and shared data could lead to it being destroyed. However, developers and other persons aiding the sales of such software coul꧒d also face arrest.
"The PUBG Anti-Cheat Unit responds to any unauthorized actions that negatively affect our players' gameplay experience," Dohyung Lee, the head of the unit, says. "We're aಞlways looking to provide the most positive gameplay experience we can for our community."
The unit also employs machine l🐈earning to formulate algorithms that strengthen꧒ its anti-cheat methods.
"The goal here is to provide a system that will effectively respond to hackᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚers and abusers by usi൲ng various statistics, logs, and play patterns found using machine-learning technologies," anti-cheat engineering developer Dongwan Kim explains.
PUBG's partnership with an agency allowed it to arrest 15 persons last April in connection with the distribution of cheating software and over $5.1 million was levied in the form of🧸 fines.
Despite the relative success of the Anti-Cheat model, PUBG en𓃲courages players to keep reporting cheaters in-game as it helps keep it updated on the latest t☂rends.
