A Miramar update and two massive 8x8 km maps are coming later this year. That's according to PUBG's that just dropped earlier today. PUBG Coꦰrp called 2021 "the year of the🌼 large map," and that's starting with a rework to the game's second big map.
, Miramar will be ওgetting a huge remaster, including upgradജed lighting, textures, ambient occlusion, and atmosphere. PUBG Corp will be overhauling the terrain to be easier to traverse and updating building layouts so there's a possibility for booby traps. Even cliffs are getting updated for a more "vertical experience."
You can see the stunning before and after shots below. Miramar is al🉐so going to receive "special new features," although we don't know𝄹 what those are yet.
We do know that Miramar will get a b♋rand new vehicle: the Quad ATV. This light vehicle will make getting around Miramr's deserts a lot easier, although it will be vulnerable to the new Lynx AMR anti-material rifle. This .50 cal sniper rifle can destroy light vehicles and penetrate armored windows, but it only comes with five shots. Use them wisely.
Mir🌌amar gets its rework with the arrival of 12.1, which should be sometime next week. You can get a preview of the new rework on the PUBG test servers now.
As previously mentioned, 2021 is the year of big maps. The first of two brand new 8x8 maps was just previewed on the PUBG site. Codenamed "Tiger," the map will feature a new respawn system that will return players to the battlefield after an initial defeat. There🃏 will also be "new features never seen before in PUBG," whatever that could be.
The second big map is codenamed "Kiki." Another 8x8 map, Kiki contrasts with𒊎 Tiger's rural features by having an almost cyberpunk-looking urban landscape. Kiki will also have swampland, a s🌺ubway, massive skyscrapers, and even underwater structures.
Tiger will arrive after Miramar’s rework, while Kiki is scheduled for the latter half of 2021 or early 2022. Expect new wea🐲pons🎐, vehicles, items, and plenty of PUBG’s signature style” for the rest of the year.
