Google Stadia has landed one of the biggest video games of all time, as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is available now for free on Google Stadia.
PUBG is one of the biggest video games of all time. In fact, it's the fourth best-selling video game in history (behind Wii Sports, Grand Theft Auto V, and Minecraft). It's the game that popularized the Battle Royale genre, and helped bring gamers around the world together for the sole purpose of massacring each o꧙ther one-by-one on an island.
It was announced during the recent Stadia Connect event that PUBG is available on Stadia starting today. Everyone with Stadia Pro can claim the Pioneer Edition of the game for free, which comes with the base game, Survivor Pass: Cold Front, and the Stadia Premiere Set. The Stadia Premiere Set contains several items of clothing that are emblazoned with the Stadia logo. The Stadia version of PUBG has crossplay with the console versions of the game, which means that people can still play the game with their friends🐲 who own it on other systems.
Google is giving away two free months of Stadia Pro to everyone, which means that everyone with access to Stadia can claim the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds - Pioneer Edition for free, as it's a Stadia Pro deal. Once the two months of Stadia Pro ends, the player will need to pay a monthly fee to retain access to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds - Pioneer Edition and any other free games t🗹hat they claim during their subscription period.
PUBG is a big get for Stadia and the fact that players have two months of free access is going to be a huge draw, especially now that people have so much free time on their hands during the self-isolation period. A lot of people in the world already have access to PUBG on different machines, but the ability to play it without needing any downloads or installs coꦏuld be 🐻enough to bring a lot of people over to Stadia.
