168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon: Call of the Mountain lets you get up close and personal with the post-post-apocalyptic robotic landscape that defines the Horizon series. Maybe a little too close, to be perfectly honest - games are a little more fun when there's a sliver of removal between you and the protagonist, if only because you don't necessarily want to scream out loud about a Scrapper getting too close for comfort.

As an interquel between 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon: Zero Dawn and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon: Forbidden West, there are plot threads that Call of the Mountain picks up that are resolved or expanded upon in Forbidden West. Not every question this game leaves us with has to do with intricate plot details - but that doesn't mean they're not worth asking.

6 Is Aloy Really🌺 That Short?

Aloy in Horizon: Call of the Mountain speaking to Ryas

Is this plot-related? No. Is the answer crucial? Absolutely not. Yet, this simple question gnaws at the back of your mind long after you've concluded Call of the Mountain: is Aloy that short? She never seemed especially small when you controlled her, whether in Zero Dawn or Forbidden West.

Yet, in Call of the Mountain, Aloy stands almost an entire head and shoulders below your point-of-view character, Ryas. It would be one thing if every character seemed especially small compared to you - but almost every other character seems to be on even footing. Of course, being short means nothing in terms of competence or strength - she's perfectly capable of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:taking down the titanic Thunderjaw by herself - yet this Aloy seems like a scaled-down version ꦺof herself.

5 ꩲ Where Do Urid🌠 And Ryas Go From Here?

Horizon Call of the Mountain - Urid speaking to Ryas at the end of the game

While you get glimpses into the brothers' past, mainly through conversation - or, more accurately, arguing - a lot is left unsaid and untouched. There is a simmering hostility there - mostly due to Ryas' past as a Shadow Carja - though by the end of the game, they seem to have begun mending their relationship.

So, how will their relationship develop from there? Will they continue to move forward, or will old conflicts resurface? Ryas' actions may have earned him some forgiveness, but reconciliation requires more than that. You're left wondering about their status as you don't see either brother in Forbidden West. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Urid is a compelling presence - it would be a shame if he never a🔥ppeared again.

4 Will꧙ We Get More Ryas? 🦋

At the end of Call of the Mountain, Ryas finds himself unburdened from his past and free to explore a better future. Blameless Marad grants him freedom, and he has reunited with his brother. While he's not entirely untethered - Marad implies he may need Ryas' help again soon - he's more or less his own man now.

So, will we ever see him again? Either as a protagonist or as a side character in Aloy's continuing journey? His story may be finished, but that doesn't mean his part in the larger whole is done. Besides, as he's functionally faceless, and defined primarily via his hovering hands, who wouldn't love to see the character we spent hours in the shoes, or gloves of?

3 🔴 What Happened To Asera Between Games? ♓

Horizon: Forbidden West confrontation with Asera in the snow

Asera and her budding Sons of Prometheus movement have their hopes set on the destruction of Meridian, the capital city of the Carja and the most significant settlement you visit in the series. She is the main antagonist as you brave the treacherous mountain path. Your final confrontation leads to the game's climactic battle.

Afterward, you ♔try to save her from falling to her death, but she refuses your help and chooses to fall. Ryas is torn up about this, as anyone would be, and it seems like the steep fall should have killed her. Yet she appears in Forbidden West, no worse for wear - and is still an antagonistic force. So what happened to her? Did she hitch a ride on a Stormbird or Glinthawk to prevent her𓂃 fall? And after that, where did she go? How did she continue to amass power without alerting people like Ryas to her survival?

2 Will They Make A N🔯on-VR Version?

glinthawk battle in horizon call of the mountain

It's all good to have a cool, VR-exclusive spin-off of a beloved and successful series, but there is the price tag issue. The PS5's VR set is almost as much as the PS5 itself - that is to say, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:prohibitively expensive for most people. This is a bit of a downer if you're a fan of the series and want to experience the story.

So, you must wonder: will they offer those who either don't want or cannot afford to buy the PSVR 2 the opportunity to experience the story themselves? Or will people simply have to content themselves with YouTube cutscene movies?

1 Will Horizon Get More S🌟pin-Offs?

Horizon Call of the Mountain Thunderjaw Boss Fight with a bow

A true spin-off to a popular series seems almost old-fashioned in a world with DLC as the primary source of alternate story content. When you're already so familiar with one set of characters, or one play-style, an entire stand-alone game dedicated to another point of view feels bizarre. Yet, with Call of the Mountain proving that Horizon doesn't 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:just have to be about Aloy. So, will they take advantage of their beautifully crafted world by giving other characters a chance to star? There are talks of a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon MMO in the works, but nothing concrete yet.

Horizon's world is full of different cultures, people, dynamic environments, and many oversized robotic creatures to fight. Aloy may have a special connection to the mechanical life around her through her Focus. Still, as Call of the Mountain proves, she is not the only person with a story worth telling. You have to wonder if we'll get to explore groups like the Carja or the Oseram in the future. There is no reason to be so limited in scope, after all.
