Broomstick League is coming to Steam this March, and it's the unofficial Quidditch meets Rocket League crossover nobody ask🐟ed for, but we absolutel𒁏y must have.
The layman might think people who love sport and people who love 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Harry Potter are two worlds that have nothing in common. Those people have obviously n♉ever heard of Quidditch, the sport played by wizards in the franchise.
What's not fair to Quidditch fans is the lack of opportunities to play the sport themselves. Running around the park on broomsticks while throwing a volleyball to each other is starting to get a little embarrassing. Most fans of other sports even have video game options like FIFA, NBA 2K, and Madden as an alternative. It🎶 has been years since the minds behind Harry Potter released an official Quidditch game, and even that wasn't very good.
The good news is Quidditch fans no longer have to wait for the official channels to chuck a quaffle at somebody. Virtual Basement and Blue Isle has stepped up to bring us Broomstick League💫. It might not be called Quidditch for legal reasons, and the rules appear to be slightly different, but when it comes to a modern-day Quidditch game, this is as close as we're going to get.
As is demonstrated in the trailer above, Broomstick League appears to be a cross between the game of Quidditch and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rocket League. Instead of four balls, there's just the one that shares a lot in common with Quidditch's Quaffle. Players pass it to one another high above the ground and try to hit it into the goal, just like Rocket League excཧept the players are all on brooms instead of inside cars.
Players will be able to compete in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches when Broomstick League is released on Steam later this year. Not much later as it is scheduled to hit Steam Early Access on March 5, 2020. The beta for the game actually took place over the course of the past three days, so hopefully we'll all be riding brooms and playing Quidditch - sorry, Broomstick League - less than a month from now.
