Well, that’s one way to try and discourage people from rage-quitting. We like the cut of your jib, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11.

If there’s one thing that can ruin a good online gaming session, it’s most players’ attitudes to losing. No, n𝓡obody wants to be defeated, but quitting out of the game as a result of a loss is entirely uncool. Still, developers know that it’ll always be a thing, and they’ve tried a range of different ways to punish rage-quitters.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Someti♊mes quitters are outright banned, sometimes they’re trolled by Mr. Resetti of Animal Crossing fame and sometimes they… well, their characters’ heads explode in a grim shower of blood. Yep, those wacky Mortal Kombat folks are at it again.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11 has just been released into the wild, and if you’re one of those players who isn’t the most sportsmanlike in defeat, it’s going to have a shocking s🍌urprise for you (not that you’ll see it, you’ll be busy rage-quitting). Remember the Quitality mechanic from the previous game? It’s back.

As reports, Quitalities wer𝕴e introduced in the 2015 reboot of the franchise. When a player rage-quits, their opponent is treated to the sight of their salty foe’s bloody demise, a very NetherRealm move. This charming spectacle returns in the new game, as does another curioওus mechanic: Mercy.

For many of us, the increasingly-graphic Fatalities are the heart and soul of Mortal Kombat. Being as much about dark humor as all-out evisceration, though, these are not a player’s only option for a finisher. Over the course of the series, we’ve seen the odd likes of Babalities anꦑd Animalities, the latter of which could only be performed by initi༒ating Mercy first.

Mercy is another mechanic that returns for Mortal Kombat 11. It’s an alternative button combination you can input, this time resulting in your ‘defeated’ opponent regaining a little health and continuing the fight. We don’t yet know whether this maneuver will perform the same function as it did earlier in the series (opening the foe up for an Animality), but both Quitality and Mercy functions are neat little nods to previous entries i♊n the series. That’s something fans always appreciate.
