Raido𝄹u Remastered Preview - Raidou Kuzunoha Ace Attourney
If Persona met Phoenix Wright...
Raidou Kuzunoha had a few years to learn everything there is about fighting demons in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, but we're here to help you feel confident in combat as you work your way through these supernatural mysteries. Once you've got the hang of fighting demons, ꦡit's a breeze!
Balance Your Physical And Magic Attacks
During your first trial in R𓆉aidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army wherein Raidou was conferred the formal title of Devil Summoner, you learned step by step how to handle demons you'll face in combat, but with so much going on all at once in this game, combat💫 might take a moment to get used to!
For those used to the turn-based combat of other Shin Megami Tensei titles, simultaneous combat with Raidou, his demons, and the opposing devils happens on the battlefield all at once. You'll only control Raidou, but you'll be able to summon multiple demons to fight by your side.
Throughout fights, Raidou's summoned demons will use their slew of attacks and skills (which you can see from the Status section in your main menu), meaning demons deal physical and elemental damage to other devils, but they'll also have a variety of support or healing skills on oওffer as well, depending on how you fused them at the Goumaden.
Raidou Deals Mostly Physical Damage
Your primary form of combat in Raidou Remastered will be with sword attacks 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:from Raidou himself. Your sword is quite powerful and becomes even more so as you upgrade it throughout the game and learn ⛎new Devil Summoner skills.
For the most part, sword combat boils down to:
- Light sword attacks that hit quicker but for less damage. When using these on a stunned enemy, you'll replenish MAG for your and your active demons (more on MAG in a moment).
- Heavy sword attacks that take a second longer to land but deal more damage when they do. Using these on stunned enemies will deal 150 percent damage.
If you jump ꩲtoward an enemy, you can attack from the air by following the j💯ump up with one of your sword attacks to deal a good amount of damage when you land.
But Raidou isn't only a melee fighter - he also has a gun for ranged attacks, with ammo that reloads slowly as you cease fire. You can linger the reticle over a demon to charge up a couple shots, then shoot several bullets at once in an attempt to stagger enemies from a safe distance, running up and dealing meleꦫe damage once they are.
When fighting alongside demons on the field, use demons to land critical elemental damage on your foes to stun then, so you can then♛ follow up wi﷽th the boosted iterations of Raidou's sword attacks that deal more damage or replenish magic.
Raidou will also periodically learn new sword abilities that allow him to deal elemental damage him🌃self using sword-based magic attacks. You'll unlock more of them throughout the game, but you'll begin with the ability to deal Pyro damage, which leaves you nice and close to follow-up on attacking stunned enemies.
These abilities need to✅ recharge for a few seconds between uses, so ♐choose when to use them carefully.
Conserve And Replenish MAG During Battles
We touched on it a bit already, but MAG is the green bar beneath the yellow HP bar to keep track of Raidou's vitality, and this is your magic meter that informs 🌺how much energy your demons can expend.
Demon skills require MAG, and you'll find that more powerful abilities consume more MAG when used in battle. You'll be able to purchase items that will replenish your MAG meter either within or outside of battle, but a lot of the MAG rest𓆉oration will be done spur-of-the-moment in battle.
You can restore MAG by:
- Hitting stunned demons with light sword attacks, which replenishes a bit of MAG for each hit as well as deals light physical damage to the demon.
- Landing a Devil's Bane, which Gouto will highlight allow you to deal a lot of damage while stealing your opponent's MAG after you've landed impressive combos in battle.
- Maxing demon loyalty as you venture through combat scenarios, with demons occasionally replenishing HP or MAG after reaching the highest limit of their loyalty.
- Visiting Nakisawame while exploring the dark world to top up on your team's health without needing to expend items.
- Using items found on explorations or purchased from Kounno-ya in Tsukubo-cho.
If you're low on MAG, you can tell your demons to stop using it during battle. They'll switch their focus to any physical attacks 🔜until reactivated, which is a good way to have characters with healing abilities maintain a damage output while you're all at high enough HP without wasting MAG on low-priority 🐠healing skills.

Atlus Is🦂 Finally Bringing Back Devil Summoner Wi♐th A New Remaster
Raidou Kuzunoha Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is comi🦄ng this summer.
Demon Orders And Skills
Like most Megami Tensei games, you'll be relying on elemental magic quite a bit during Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. We've mentioned that Raidou can use sword skills to learn elemental attacks himself, but for the most part, you'll need to rely on demons to deal the highest amounts of elemental damage.
When you first confine a demon, you'll be informed which Order it's of, and this will tell you which elements and skills your demons will use in combat. You've got more ability to breed variety into new demons using the Goumaden, but any demon you obtain will have its Order and mov꧒e set displayed 💫in your Detective Journal menu.
You'll find a few major Orders in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Any demon with specific elemental damage will have this highlighted in their Order (Pyro, Cryo, etc.), so you'll be unsurprised to see these demons typically deal offensive damage. There are plenty of skill Order demons that focus on healing and/or stat changes, too, 🧸for a more passive approach.
All Demon Orders In Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
You'll do well to master the affinity chart in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless ꦫArmy for the easiest time in combat. The game will highlight demons that know effective skills for the fight when you reconfigure w🎃hich devils you've got actively summoned in battle, so pay attention to affinities and sharpshoot them for the easiest time bringing enemies down.
That said, these affinities also play into your team as well, since your demons have their own affinities that you can learn more about from either the Detective J𒀰ournal in the main menu or from their general Analyze screen during battle (which is especially easy if you're fighting a demon you've already confined).
F♉or example, you'd do well to keep Cryo Order devils off the battlefield when you're up against a few demons who use Pyro skills, as they'll be able to hit your devils' weaknesses and turn the tide against you in battle.
Finally, keep an ear out for Gouto and your devils in battle -♑ they'll often provide tips on how to handle the current situation.
