By doing so, send Alp to the study on the first floor and look around to get the photo from the shelf in the room.

There's plenty of hidden loot to find by having your familiars explore superfluous rooms; they'll check the storage in these areas and potentially find items, so it's always worth che🧸cking along the way.

Following this section of the investigation, head north into Kamishiro-zaka to speak with a few schoolgirls at the intersection about their missing friend after using your Inv🐟estigation Skills to learn how to approach the conversation.

They'll tell you about Rin's meetings with someone lately, but when you go speak to Rin down the alleyway to the east past Fujiko Parlor and follow her to a secluded area, she'll be kidnapped and brought into the Dark Realm, and it'll be up to Raidou to follow suit and save he🎃r.

Confining Demons And Grinding For Levels

Your first expedition into the Dark Realm has plenty to offer off the bat and can be a bit overwhelming if you're coming into the game anew, but right near the entrance, there are a few key things to learn about for your sucess in Raidou Remastered: ๊The Mystery Of The Soulless Army.

These are:

• Dragon's Founts, which allow Raidou to not only save the game while inside the Dark Realm, but also provide access to the Goumaden from here once it unlocks following this section of the investigation.
• Nakisawame, who can replenish Raidou and his party's HP and MAG. Visit often for free healing!

Once you've saved and healed, it's time to begin battling the demons here as they appear while you explore the overworld of Dark Ts🍌ukudo-cho. There's a wide assortment of them available here, but when you first enter, Raidou will only have so many tubes in which to seal these demons.

Thankfully, you'll begin to get more tubes as your level increases, which means it's time to use the devils you've already confined to grind for EXP a bit as you run across Dark Tsukudo-cho exploring and collecting the loot dotted around (which is typically marked on your map by a small crystal shape, but devils with the Inves꧙tigate skill can find items as they follow you around, too).

Explore and grind as much as you'd like, but take notice of the barrier blocking you from entering the area near Tamonten Shrine, which means you'll need to progress around the long way, back through Karukogawa Shopping District.

Here, you'll meet a trio of Obariyons who would like to chat with you about being a devil summoner, and they warn you of a strong demon waiting up ahead. To stall your progress, the demons will attack as you progress toward the Narumi Detective Agency on the map, and a battle begins. You'll learn to use Pyro Order to win the fight easily.

The Obariyons here are weak to Cryo and Wind magic, so bring out the right familiars to make quick work of the few waves of enemies here. After winning these fights and claiming your rewards, proceed forward, but with caution - your next obstacl✨e is just ahead.

Nethergates, Explained

This is your first exposure to Nethergates, gates bound by elemental magic whose barriers must be destroyed by the right elemental magic to proceed. For the very first one here, the game tells you outright to confine an Agathion before entering the battle, since this particular Nethergate in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soullessꩵꦛ Army is weak to Volt Order demons.

After you've left the Dark Realm and come back to the regular version of Tsukudo-cho, it's time to explore the area for what's newly been unlocked since you were last allowed 🍨to roam freely. These new additions include:

• The Goumaden, the fusion feature to make new demons for Raidou's arsenal in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soulless Army. Go to Kounno-ya and ask to head down to the basement, where Victor will just have returned. Here, you can register demons and re-summon them, as well as begin to dabble in demon fusions.
• Case Files, optional investigations that often require solving a few simple puzzles that Raidou can choose to take on in exchange for a variety of loot like skill books, cash, and EXP.

As such, go back to Kamishiro-zaka and read the mind of the maid here to learn what's going on. Speak to ♛her, and she'll give you the wine.

Go back to Daidouji Manor and enter the basement again, but get ready for a tough boss battle against Big Tarrasque when you do. You'll spend the battle using Pyro Order demons to gain the advantage, but it's still a rather tough fight if you didn't use the demons outside Big Tarrasque's area to grind for EXP before triggering the battle.

After the defeat, Big Tarrasque will then ask you for some Pricey Beer, which is located in one of the guest rooms on the second floor of Daidouji Manor. Return to Big Tarrasque and provide the beverage, and he'll take you to the other side of the map in exchange.

Bring demons who can use Fly to obtain cr🍒ystals on higher ground iཧn this first area of the basement abyss.

After reaching the other side, Inspect the bookshelf in the cage, where you'll find Kaya's Diary hidden between the spaces. Read the diary to glean information about the Daidouji family curse, and then return to the living room to talk to Kiyoshi about the diary's contents.

On your way, you'll be stopped by the demons that once were dolls outside the jail cell, where Gashadokuro will appear and challenge you to another tough battle. You'll learn to jump to dodge, which will 🍸prove essential for handling this boss battle.
