Ubisoft is planning to have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege available for both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X on the consoles' respective launch dates and the publishers are also hoping to offer cross-play and cr൲oss-platform play. The multiplayer shooter has been aro🌟und for a while but remains quite popular, prompting the devs to set out a two-year plan for continued support.

The𒀰 aforementioned consoles are set to release during the holiday season this year and game studios are likely scrambling to have titles ready for the high🗹ly-anticipated launches. Ubisoft's well aware that re-releasing one of its most popular online games will leave the company in a very good position if they have it ready to roll out together with the next-gen systems. And they're planning to do just that.

Leroy Athanassoff, the game's director told l as much but was unable to provide launch dates, understandably so as those are well and truly up to Sony and Microsဣoft. He did confirm that the title wo♚uld be PS5 and X Series-ready.

"Why I can't give you a date is because those dates are, in the end, on the people doing the next-gen consoles," he said. "What I can tell you is that we are going to be on [the consoles] from launꦜch. When they will release the consoles; but it's up to them to agree that. For Siege, our target ♕is to be available right at launch."

The publishers dropped updates for the game for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X but those came months after the consoles launched. 🥃They are planning to move much 𝄹faster with the upcoming consoles, however.

"We don't want to break our community. So, w♊e want people who buy the new system right away to play it ⭕with their friends," Athanassoff added.

The game will also feature cross-generation multiplayer, which means that PS5 users will be able to play against PS4 users. cross-play between Xbox and PlayStation owners, though, is something not as easily achievable as Microsoft and Sony will have to ag💖ree first.

"Again, this is more a discussion between Microsoft and Sony," the director said. "We would love to be fully cross-play - have Xbox players ma🍨tchmaking against the PlayStation players. We are ready to support that. And hopefully, this will happen because as I said, it's a general move in the industry, and there is nothing that can prevent that. It's just a matt𝐆er of time before it happens."
