Defense turned into offense in a round of Rainbow Six where a redditor and his team ♛pulled off a shocker by wiping out the entire opposing team in just 10 seconds while playing the defending role.
Unlike some other FPS games, taking your time and not rushing is of the essence in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rainbow Six Siege: players 💞are encouraged to be careful, to peek through corners, to listen for footsteps, and to strategize their engagements accordingly. As such🅰, when taking the defending role in any given match, players generally stay inside the assigned building to maintain a cautious strategy.
In one round at the Bank map, however, Re🥂ddit user u/Jacobklh123 and his team decided to break the meta and went outside the building, setting up one of the fastest rounds ever. During setup where defenders would normally barricade doors, walls, and strategically place traps, Jacobklh123 and his team gathered at the electrical room and tore down a barricade that immediately led outside of the building, giving them a clear go as soon as the set-up timer hit zero.
As the match started, the tea✤m ran outside and immediately gunned down the attackers' presumed spawn location. Jacobklh123 was able to take out two of the attackers before dying, and his team was able to finish them off with the help of a nicely thrown-then-detonated C4. With aggressive offense, the defending team won the round.
The defending team wasn't immediately tagged as they stepped outside, due to the two second countdown from being tagged upon stepping out. Additionally, the attacking team was very much caught by surprise due to the expectation that the defenders would be inside the building and wouldn't be engag꧟ed with until the next minute.
Seeing how arcade-like and fast this round was in a rather tactical game that encourages environmental awareness was rather unexpected and funny. Considering the popularity of the reddit post, Ubisoft may want to consider tweaking the tag timers somewhat to prevent this run-and-gun stra𒁏tegy from becoming the new meta.
