Ubisoft, the French publisher/developer known for Assassin's Creed and harboring 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a culture 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:of toxicity 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and misogyny, has announced that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher will be joining 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rainbow Six Siege as the newest operator. In a move to avoid ever making another installment in the fan-favorite series, it seems Sam will🔯 come packed with his signature trifocal goggles and silenced weapons.
We actually don't have much information to go off of, but a teaser trailer confirms something any fan doesn't want to hear: Michael Ironside will not be voicing the character. For whatever reason, the acclaimed actor is not reprising his role for this pretty shameless whoring out of a beloved character. Maybe Ironside took a look at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ubisoft's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:current state 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:of affairs and told the company to piss off. Tha👍t would be in character for Sam.
The full reveal for this pretty tasteless crossover will be happening during the Siege North American mini major finals on August 16, 2020. It'd be nice if it was building up to a reveal for a new Splinter Cell game, but I don't even know if that would be good news. We only need to take a look at the company's past few games to see that it loves rushing titles past the finish line and cramming them full of microtransactions to make a quick buck. It loves that almost as much as it loves denying creators the chance to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:put a woman as the main character.
Maybe I'm using this crappy news as a way to slag off the company, but I really have no sympathy for the higher-ups at Ubisoft. It hires talented creators that dream of working on big brands and abuses their passion for video games. It finds one good idea in a title and crams that into everything regardless of context. It also releases games that bꦗarely function be🅠fore tweaking them over the years to become somewhat competent.
I might as well mention that Sam Fisher's role in Ghost Recon Breakpoint was a load of garbage. Despite how lousy the Splinter Cell mission was in Wildlands, Ironside gave a great performance and it felt like the writers knew what they wanted from the brand. Fast forward a few years and I really wish some major shakeup could happen to save U🐻bisoft from the culture ♑it has created.
