In New Hanover, blackberries can be found growing along with some Indian Tobacco and Creeping Thyme along the prominent bends in the Dakota river. Try checking closer to the roadside the runs parallel with this stretch of the river if you’re having trouble. Blackberry Uses
Though tasty, blackberries don’t have many uses in the game, which is probably a good thing, given how difficult they are to track down. Of course, they contribute toward the “Picked to Perfection” acꦺ𝓰hievement in Red Dead Online, but otherwise, you can use them primarily as a convenient stand-in for other more common ingredients and consumables you may have run short on.
For one, blackberries can be consumed raw for a boost to the health core, but you’d have to be in a real bind to run out of every option to help with that. Berries are also a required ingredient for Potent Predator bait. Any berry will do, but if you have some blackberries on hand, you'd might as well use them, as they don’t fetch much of an earning in the trade market, either.
