Best Geese Hunting Locations
New Austin
- The only place to find geese down in New Austin is the central stream network that makes up Stillwater Creek.
West Elizabeth
- Another small population of geese can be found on the eastern bank of the Aurora Basin in the Tall Trees region of West Elizabeth.
- Continuing upstate, more geese can be found along the Upper Montana River near the mouth that opens into Flat Iron Lake.
- Further up Flat Iron Lake, a larger population can be found inhabiting the mouth of the Dakota River between West Elizabeth and New Hanover.
New Hanover
- New Hanover is the best state for geese hunts as many players have had luck finding geese spread throughout the land around Emerald Station, Emerald Ranch, and The Heartland Overflow.
- You can also find them upstate along the Kamassa River north of Annesburg and around the Brandywine Drop.
Ambardino
- You might try the land north of O’Creagh’s Run as you head into Ambardino. Geese specifically have made a habitat a little way above where the “O” in Ambardino falls on the map.
- Continuing across the state, you may sight a few more geese hanging out across the Dakota River on the bank opposite the Bacchus Station.
- Geese can also reliably be found inhabiting Cattail Pond in the Southwest corner of Ambardino, near the West Elizabeth and New Hanover borders.
