An Oppressor can blow up your whole convoy. It. Is. Infuriating. Add to this their speed and invulnerability and it only takes one prick to ruin an entire lobby. 9 ൩ Worse: The Lack Of🍌 Player Housing
Okay, this one hurts to write. RDO has been out for ages and we still don’t have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:actual player housing we can buy. The camp is fine, but it isn’t an apartment in Saint-Denis, or a cabin in the Bayou. GTA Online offers players a pretty decent variety of housing locations, though they do all🅰 have the same copy and pasted interiors, which is a bit of a letdown. Still, at least GTA Online players get actual houses. We’d even settle for a bed in the moonshine shack at this point.

Things are expensive enough to encourage you to actually play and plan what you want, but not so expensive that you have to fork out actual cash for things.

7 ▨ Worse: No Heists
Considering the entire story of Red Dead Redemption 2 is about planning and pulling off heists and big robberies, it seems absolutely criminal that these have been completely left out of the online experience. The Roles are fun, and trading, collecting, and moonshining 📖are all profitable, but they’ll never reach the thrill of planning and pulling off a heist with 🏅your posse.
6 Better: A𓆉 Living, Breathing World 🧔
Los Santos is great for driving through while listening to the radio and for starting county-wide police chases. It isn’t the kind of place you want to just walk around. If you do, you’ll find that the world is a bit empty apart from the dialogue you’ll overhear. RDO contains 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a world that you can actually live in. Even with no players or missions, you can do so much and take in so much gorgeous scenery that you’ll never get bored. Old West over the West Coa🍸st any day.
5 Worse: Lack Of Meaningful Vehicle Variety 🧸
While the horses in RDO are fantastic, they don’t differ from each other in enough ways to make any o𝓀ne feel completely different from another. Sure, bigger ones handle other animals better, and some are faster, but they’re all still horses.
The amount of vehicles and level of customization available in GTA Online is hard to compete with outside of the actual racing game genre. Obviously, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:adding motorbikes to RDO is not the answer, but maybe so📖me canoes or even a very rudimentary car💞 to travel around Saint-Denis in.
4 Better: Gunplay 🗹
Both games are shooters at their core. While the guns in GTA Online may fire faster than those in RDO, they don’t feel nearly as satisfying to use. In GTA, you pump every enemy with bullets so quickly that𒐪 new guns barely feel better, and rocket launchers always offer the ability to just blow everyone up anyway. The different guns in RDO actually feel noticeably different. The LeMat packs one hell of a punch, but it reloads slowly. The Bolt-Action rifle will reward patient shots whereas a Lancaster repeater favors rapid fire. Shooting just feels more real in RDO.
3 ✃ Worse: No Radio 🌟
Obviously, a radio wouldn’t be a very immersive feature in RDO, but the absence of the witty talk shows and new tunes while you spend hours riding around can be noticeable at times. For the most part, the game’s♎ stellar ambient soundtrack and brilliant wildlife soundscape more than make up for this loss. Still, maybe if large towns and cities had town-criers, or if there were loads of newspapers with funny stories about the lack of a radio, it wouldn’t feel as noticeable.
2 Better: Story 🐼Missions
Hands up, who has actually been able to play all the GTA Online story missions in order? Being able to play with your crew or just play the missions chronologically 🐻seems near impossible. Also, the missions aren’t as fun as those in the story. RDO solves this by displaying story missions with obviously different icons on the map and showing them in the correct order. Also, starting them as part of a posse will ensure you all play the same mission at the same time.
1 Worse: Crosso൲ver Events
Anyone who was playing GTA Online a couple of years ago will remember in-game events that would give you rewards in RDO. You can also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:link you♛r Social Club and Pri🅰me Gaming accounts for some perks. These were often fun, short, Easter egg heavy quests that tied the two experiences together qui✅te well. A particular☂ly good crossover was hunting for the Van Der Linde treasure as a teaser for RDO before it released.
