- West of MacFarlane’s Ranch you can find a light population of snakes in northern Hennigan’s Stead.
- To the east of MacFarlane’s Ranch, you may find snakes along the train tracks leading down towards Stillwater Creek, throughout Thieve’s Landing, and across the island there to Quaker’s Cove.
West Elizabeth
- From Quaker’s Cove, you can find snakes throughout the western and northern regions of the Great Plains.
- Ironically the Tall Trees region doesn’t have an outstanding snake population, but there is a small habitat suitable to them around the far side of the Aurora Basin and along the region’s northern border.
- Snakes can be found all along the Upper Montana River on both sides of the riverbanks and in slightly greater abundance nearing the river mouth and splitting off up Hawk’s Eye Creek.
- Snakes are fairly common all over central West Elizabeth, though they are more prominent at either end of both the Upper Montana River and Hawk’s Eye Creek which branches off from it. You’ll also find snakes more common around the banks of the Owanjila and up the creek northwest.
Ambardino
- Cattail pond and the land surrounding it are likely to have a few snakes slithering about.
- You may find them in greater abundance along the stretch of Dakota River running from the West Elizabeth/New Hanover Border to Cumberland Forest.
- The central to the southeast of Cumberland Forest is probably the best area to search for snakes in Ambardino.
- You can find light populations up north around Donner Falls and northwest of O’Creagh’s Run.
New Hanover
- Starting at the northern border of New Hanover, it’s possible to find snakes along the Kamassa River from the Brandywine Drop, down through Annesburg to the Elysian Pool.
- All along the shores of the Lannahechee in Roanoke Ridge is great for snake hunting
- The southern Roanoke Ridge region has a more widespread habitat for Snakes ranging from the shores of the Lannahechee across the banks of the Kamassa and down the state.
Lemoyne
- Down in Lemoyne, you may find snakes all throughout the waterways of the Bluewater Marshes and the Bayou Nwa.
- This population spills over into the southeastern region of the Scarlett Meadows, through Bolger Glade, and up towards the city of Rhodes.
- You may also check in the northern meadows around Ringneck Creek and Eris Field.
- Snakes may be found across the stretch of land to the west as well and up along Dewberry Creek.
- If you’re still in search of snakes you can head out to the islands off the western shores of the meadows.
