Best Sockeye Salmon Locations
West Elizabeth
- Sockeye Salmon swim up the creek from the Owanjila spring.
- You can also find them in the northernmost stretches of Little Creek River near the Ambardino border.
Ambardino
- Heading over the border into the Grizzlies West, you can find Sockeye Salmon swimming in both Deadboot Creek and Spider Gorge, which split off north from Lake Isabella in the western region of Ambardino.
- The stretch of the Dakota River running along Cumberland Forest’s Northern border is also a good fishing hole to catch Sockeye Salmon. Try stopping off when you're around Bacchus Station or Fort Wallace.
- You can also try casting your line along the northern shores of O’Creagh’s run in the Grizzlies East.
New Hanover
- The Kamassa River is a bountiful area for many forms of wildlife but also one of the best fishing holes for Sockeye Salmon. The stretch of the Kamassa River running south of the Van Horn Trading Post towards Lemoyne is prime Sockeye Salmon territory.
- On the other side of the state, try the waters of the Dakota River separating New Hanover and Lemoyne. Starting near the mouth of Little Creek River, Sockeye Salmon have been caught on their journey downstream towards Caliban’s Seat.
