A companion app for Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch with🎉 the gam🐲e, allowing players to perform all kinds of handy functions on the fly.
Red Dead Redemption 2, needless to say, is primed to be one of the biggest games of the year. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War, and the like have made a super-impressive showing, but a late release is about to throw its hat into the ring in a big w𒁏ay. This is one enormous hat, friend🌜s.
Rockstar’s latest epic is set to be so darn big, it won’t even fit on our TVs and monitors. Not without help, anyway. It’s not only going 🦩to consume our time an🦄d our primary screen, but it’s also spilling out onto our mobile devices.
The seven people around the world who own a Wii U will be familiar with the system’s unconventional controller. The system’s unwieldy GamePad broke the mold by serving as a sort of tablet before tablets were really a thing, and you’ve got to admire that. Grꦦanted, it wasn’t truly portable in the Nintendo Switch sense (it would lose co🥂nnection if taken more than a short distance away from the main Wii U unit), but it was a bold start.

The concept wasn’t for everybody, but one thing the GamePad did well was serve as a sort of second screen for the home console. In this way, you had all kinds of handy-dandy menu functions, maps, and the like at your fingertips as you watched the main screen. With its companion app, Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to be channeling that spirit.
The app launched right alongside the game, rep𒅌orted, and while it won’t be obligatory in order to play the game, it isn’t intrusive and it’ll certainly be worth your while. You can place waypoints on your map and nav꧟igate it on the fly (very convenient in a game as large and ambitious as this one), as well as consult our hero Arthur Morgan’s journal.
It even features a full digital manual for the game, and (optional) digital version of Piggyback’s official guide. Another neat touch is that, as you can choose to display all of Morgan’s stats and details on your iOS or Android device, entirely removing the HUD from the gaꦇme itself.
All in all, it’s great to see a companion app that actually serves as a valuable companion, rather than simply enabling a tack🧸ed-on minigame o𒐪r something.
