Or can you? Someone has already cracked the game for PC and made a save editor to insert Red XIII as a playable 🌊charact🌌er.
Head on over to Xeeynamo’s GitHub repository to download the latest version of his Kingdom Hearts save editor. Yes, the name says Kingdom Hearts, but the save editor has limited functionality to tweak a few things in Final Fantasy VII Remake, including inventory, materia, character levels, and crucially, ওwhat party members you have available.
Using this save editor, you can unlock Red🔴 XIII. Hಌere he is in action.
While the save editor makes Red XIII briefly playable, any cut scenes or major party changes tend to remove him from the party𒆙. The eventual PC version of the game might have a more robust save editor that can also modify parts of the game’s files to ensure Red XIII sticks around, but this barebones PS4 version doesn’t mess with that sort of thing.
