The fans who were concerned that they would have to witness their first Game Awards wi🐈thout the Regginator no longer need to worry, as Reggie Fils-Aimé will be attending the eve🎃nt as a presenter.
Reggie Fils-Aimé has attended every Game Awards event that has happened so far, yet fans were not expecting him to appear at the 2019 show, as he no longer works for Nintendo. Reggie stepped doওwn from his position as president of Nin🌌tendo of America on April 15, with Doug Bowser taking his place within the company. Reggie always made it clear that he was retiring of his own volition and he has since spent his time teaching business at Cornell University, as well as joining the board of directors for the New York Videogame Critics Circle.
Reggie never missed a Game Awards event while working for Nintend🔜o and it seems that he will continue ap❀pearing during his retirement, as the official Twitter page for The Game Awards has announced that Reggie will be a presenter at the event.
It's currently unclear whether Reggie will be presenting throughout the evening or whether he will only be on stage for a single segment. The Game Awards Twitter has also announced that Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker from The Muppets 🅰are also presenting, so it seems likely that both Regඣgie and the puppets will be around for a single segment.
Reggie is no longer employed by Nintendo, but he's still closely associated with the company, so fans expecting a Hulk Hogan NWO moment where Reggie reps for Microsoft and Sony will likely be disappointed. It's likely that Reggie will just present one of the awards that Nintendo is likely to win (like Best Family Game, which only has Nintendo nominees) and maybe give one last kick to the groin to the Mother/EarthBound fanbase beforeܫ leaving. It will still be awesome to seಞe Reggie back on stage, even if it's just for one more night.
The Game Awards 2019 will take place on December 𓆉12, 2019. It will be live streamed and .
