Originally released in 2019 for iOS deꦑvices, Greek developer beyondthosehills’ minimalist puzzler, reky, hits PC and Andrꦗoid mobile devices tomorrow, with its technically drawn aesthetics and elegantly designed logical puzzles.

The game has already won awards and is currently nominated for Amaze’s New Tal🥂ent Award and the XYZ Design Award, which makes sense considering the developers come from strong scientific and artistic backgrounds. Finally, PC and 🐻Android puzzle fans will be able to get their hands on it.

Perhaps it takes the more logical mind of a puzzle genre fan - which I admit I am not - but from the trailer alone, it’s hard to tell exactly what kind of puz🧸zles the game has or even how to solve them.

The design is an overall architecture of lines, platforms, stairs, portals, and boxes, with players in control of a ball that needs to make it from point A to point B using a single finger (or click). Shifting various movable pieces within the level is the only way to make it to the goal, but - much like chess - thinking one step ahead seems to be like a very lucrative and valuable strategy to adopt in reky.

Even with the brain-teasing-types of puzzles found within th🃏e game, the simplistic colors and overall ambient music of reky - again, based o💃n the trailer alone - do give off a relaxing vibe, which will be a welcomed tone given everything going on in the world right now.

reky is also sure to occupy a good portion of players’ time, consi✅dering it comes packed with 96 l🦩evels for players to take on.

The game current꧒ly has an impressive 4.6-star rating on the App Store, and given the Age Rating of being suitable for anyone aged 4+, it seems like a solid title𝓰 for anyone to snag when you need to wind down from a long day.

reky is available now on the Apple App St𝓀ore for the reasonable price of $3.99, and will release tomorrow, May 27th, for PC and Android devices for the same price.
