A now-deleted Rockstar Support page may have revealed new information about the remastered GTA Trilogy, including the fact that it'll apparently feature "GTA 5-style controls".
, a , before Rocksta𝄹r has chosen to unveil anything itself. The page has since been deleted, but the user managed to copy over the text before it disappeared.
The deleted support page reads, "Three iconic cities, three epic stories. Play the genre-defining classics of the original Grand Theft ♛Auto Trilogy: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas updated for a new generation, now with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more, bringing these beloved worlds to 🐽life with all-new levels of detail."
The page continues by going into some sort of Rockstar Launcher-specific deal, which definitely makes it seem more real. If the support page was indeed real, which seems likely considering the link is still active but the page has been deleted, then these are the first details of what's being changed in the GTA Trilogy.
New lighting, environmental upgrades and high-resolution textures all sound pretty standඣard for a remaster, but the really interesting part of this is the reveal of "Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting". One of the biggest criticisms of the original GTA Tr💯ilogy is how they can now feel quite tank-like to control, but by changing it up to match GTA 5, it might actually fix one of the biggest issues.
The post also teases "much more", which seems to imply that the Trilogy is adding more than just a few graphical improvements. Here's hoping that it means some sort of new content and not just the meme-fill🅺ed achievement list that leaked earli♚er in the week.
