The 2012 follow-up to Alan Wake, titled Alan Wake's American Nightmare, features two musical sections. One uses a new Old Gods of Asgard song called 'Balance Slays the Demon,' and another uses the licensed track 'Club Foot' by Kasabian.

Kasabian's 'Club Foot' plays during a short sequence where a satellite is brought down from the air and crashes through structures on its way down to the surface, causing a debris field Alan must escape. Arguably, one of the best chapte❀rs of Alan Wake 2 is We Sing, a musical level that takes all of Remedy's previous concepts and ideas and takes things to new creative heights. It's something you probably thought you'd never get to see in your lifetime in a game, much less a horror title.

Taking inspiration from the shifting environments of the Ashtray Maze and the live-action elements Remedy is known to incorporate, Alan Wake 2 features a full-on musical playing out on many screens throughout the level, with characters often directing you where to go.

Return 5 takes you to the Valhalla Nursing Home, which was established in partnership with the Old Gods of Asgard and, therefore, contains much of their memorabilia, including a museum. Their song 'Anger's Remorse' is also the key to activating the Overlap in the pond.

But that's not all the Old Gods you'll hear from this chapter.
