Jeff Grubb, a reliable source and reporter for VentureBeat, shows no confidence in FromSoftware's upcoming action-RPG  being fဣeatured during Xbox's 🧸Game Showcase this Thursday.

Grubb posted on Twitter, "There's a better chance of a Bakugan than Elden Ring on Thursday." That's harsh as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bakugan was lambasted during a weak Nintendo Treehouse reveal event. Grubb has been correct in the past. For example, he was right about the PlayStation 5 Future of Gaming event before itܫ was delayed to June 11th for the Black Lives Matter movement.

The last time we've heard about Elden Ring was during Microsoft's E3 2019 showing and it has been hyped by the community ever since, despite no gameplay being released yet. The reason for Elden Ring being a highly anticipated game is that it's being created Hidetaki Miyazaki of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne fame, and George R.R. Martin, the writer of the Game of Thrones series. The ch🎉emistry of Miyazaki's gameplay chops with the powerful writiꦑng of Martin sounds like a FromSoftware fan's dream come true.

However, that dream is starting to dash as there has been no word on the project for over a year. Perhaps George R.R. Martin's glacially slow writing speed for the Song of Ice and Fire books is starting to rub off on FromSoftware.

The publisher Bandai Namco has so far been vague about Elden Ring. In the initial press release, they stated it was a fantasy world where you'll have to "overcome danger looming at every turn." That sounds very similar to Dark Souls!

Dark Souls and Bloodborne fans should start praꦿising the sun for more news on the title if Jeff Grubb is to be believed.

FromSoftware began to see success with the "Soulsborne" formula since 2009's Demon's Souls. At first, it failed in the Rising Sun, as it was too difficult, but when it released in the West (thanks ATLUS), it blossomed into a successful formula. Western gamers find these games from the Japanese developer refreshingly difficult and enjoyed learning the patterns that each boss had. This success continued on with the Dark Souls series with over 2🌌7 million coಞpies shipped worldwide.

After the well-received 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from la𒁃st year, the gaming community is eager to play FromSoftware's next adventure.
